This little paint by numbers kit was really fun and reminded me of my childhood paint sets. It was a nice little weekend project and looks very pretty once completed.

This paint by numbers set includes everything needed to paint a beautiful, colorful, painting. I like that it comes with different acrylic paint colors in small tubs. Each color tub is numbered, all you need to do is match the color to the number shown on the canvas. I really like that the canvas is pre-stretched and securely attached to a wood frame. It does take a bit of patience, time, and determination to achieve a beautiful painting, but it is worth the effort, and fun too. I have painted with acrylic paints for many years, and I decided to give paint by numbers a try about four months ago, just to see the results. And I have to say I'm impressed with the results. If you are new to painting, I think this is a good way to get started. One characteristic of acrylic paints is that they dry fast, this works well with painting by numbers because if you are using a light colored paint to paint the number, and it doesn't completely hide the number, you can paint it over again without a long wait. The paint set comes with three different sized paint brushes. I really like the paint by numbers set and I think you will too.

Getting four framed sets at this price is almost unheard of, and there are so many other nice extras included too. Usually the paint by number kits that I get are unframed canvases, and the framed ones are much more expensive. I can't believe you get four with this set. It's really nice to not have to deal with wrinkles or creases. The designs are all really cute as well. The paints and brushes are pretty comparable to what you get with these types of kits, and I always prefer to use my own brushes, but these would work fine and I like that they included a variety of sizes. The little easel is such a nice bonus too.

My 11-year-old daughter has been taking art classes for a couple of years now. She really enjoys all types of painting and drawing and even digital art. She absolutely loves this set. She says the paints are better than with the last paint-by-number set I got her and she did not find this one boring (apparently the others have been too easy for her). She has completed one of them and is almost done with her second one and the paintings really do look beautiful when done. If you have a young or amateur budding artist at home (or need a gift for one) who enjoys paint by numbers, this is a very nice set and a good value.

I’m really enjoying doing paint by number kits. Mine never come out looking great because I struggle with stiffness due to rheumatoid arthritis in my hands, but still love crafts like this because it’s relaxing and good for fine motor skills, even if mine are lacking a bit.This desert cactus scene kit has the prettiest colours and even though it’s much smaller than others I’ve done in the past year, it is especially nice that it’s already stretched to a frame and even comes with the hanging hardware, although I’m a long way from hanging it.I’ve just started and my only concern is if the paints will run out before I’m finished, because I’ve had that happen with larger kits. I’ll update this review if I run into that problem, but fingers crossed I don’t.My kit came with an extra set of brushes and hanging hardware, but I’m guessing that was just a glitch during packaging, but it’s a nice extra.
