This recorder pen actually exceeded my expectations. It works great as a discreet recorder and actual pen. The pen writes smoothly in black ink and comes with 5 refills!! I wasn’t expecting that (so 6 total including the one already in it upon arrival). The instructions are clear and easy to follow. It did not come pre-charged, so I was surprised about that. But to charge it is super easy and it comes with the adapter you need if you don’t already have that type. You just unscrew the middle to access the usb port to charge it, connect the earphones/playback piece, and/or connect to your computer. Inside you will also find the 64 GB TF card that comes with it/already installed. 64 GB allows for ~768 hours of record time!!!To use it, you just hold down the end of the pen for 3 seconds and then a tiny blue/red light flashes to indicate it’s on and ready to record. The number of blue flashes also indicates how much battery power is left, so you know when you need to charge it again. The charge lasts ~23 hours of use. To stop the recording, you just push down the end again.It comes with an adapter and earphones for playback mode anywhere. To load and manage (or share) the files on your computer is super easy. Once you connect it to your computer, a folder automatically pops up with your files and it's easy to figure out from there. As the instructions will tell you, you want to use Windows Media Player to listen to them. The other media player that opened first didn't support the file.I'm overall very happy with this secret recorder pen. You never know when you're gonna need it ;).

This recorder pen is awesome. Not just a recording devise, this is actually a pen that writes well and it comes with several ink cartridges. The instructions for using it as a recording devise are clear and easy to follow. It’s voice-activated! In addition, it comes with several extras including an SD card and ear buds! I can see a lot of uses for this nifty devise!

Love this pen recorder! Looks like a regular pen- it can write and it comes with extra pen tips! Recording is very clear, easy to use, just press the button! It can be connected USB to headphones, or USB to PC. Instructions are very easy to follow.

Great little product. Clear instructions. Works fine. No brand name or manufacturer name/address so no way to complain if problems.

This pen is awesome. Working ink pen that also can record. Would be great for lectures in class, but also a fun spy toy for young kids! Super easy to use. Directions were very clear and understandable. Doesn’t weigh more than a normal nice quality pen. love that it came with ink refills too!

Don't buy. Amazon wouldn't replace or stand behind the products they sell. Worked once!

It came with several ink refills which was nice, looked high quality but I couldn’t figure out how to use the recording function but I didn’t try hard to read the instructions either. Interesting concept.

I like that the product is like a real pen. Without the led when operating there is no teller that it has feature to record. The package comes with additional pen tips once the ink dry out. Otherwise, you can untwist the middle part to reach the USB. The package comes with a USB to headphone and USB to PC. Both are convenient. The usb to headphone lets you skip track and I crease volume. It is fine for a quick review. Recording works by pressing the top button. It is the only button on the pen so you need to learn the timing to record, pause and stop. The pen usage is towards use case where you want to record without raising awareness that you are recording. The ideal use case is recording and leaving the pen unsupervised and coming back later to retrieve it. In situations where you show a microphone, there might be more directional recording device. Thus, I would recommend the pen for recording taking note without raising attention that you are recording.
