These are expensive and being effective is so important. Addiction is no joke, y'all! The name brand works well, but it's expensive. This is much more affordable while keeping effective. It has the same sticking power as the name brand, but I still use a translucent, thin bandage to keep it on because it can come up on the edges if I have a particularly active day or sweat a lot. Usually, if I clean the area with rubbing alcohol first, it sticks fine on it's own for the full 24 hour period. These show up next day, usually, and I've been waiting 3 days. So, tomorrow is the big day! You can do this, too! The color is translucent enough that it isn't too obvious. It won't stay on skin areas that aren't more firm without help of a bandage. I tested it on my stomach, went to sleep, woke up with it in my shirt. On my upper arm, it works great. Easy to use and to step down from without needing a whole new box at a different strength.I recommend. Anything that lessens the target behavior is a win in my book, and this does. These patches are old faithful!I decided to try buying 28mg patches this time around, from a different generic brand, had my quit date timed perfectly, to ensure no chance at accidental relapse, put 2 on the night before and woke up to ZERO nicotine in my system. These are amazing value and very practical. As a smoker, they were a great tool for hiding the habit during long family events. When I quit smoking, they were extremely helpful. These can be cut into smaller and smaller pieces to facilitate a long taper while quitting. I highly suggest you buy them even if you don't plan on quitting. Just don't wear one and also smoke at the same time.

Who knew this really helps with pain by cutting each sheet in quarters and changing the patch daily. This was recommended by a friend and since, several others have commented, it worked well for them too. I can't say it helps 100% but there is a significant deference with lowering pain level.

These patches stick the best of all the ones I’ve gotten. The best part is that you can break them up and stick them a little bit apart, so they don’t itch too much in one place if you have that issue.These are better than the ones the doctor prescribed me, recommended.

These patches do work. However I would recommend talking to your doctor before trying these. The package recommends starting out with 1 and 1/2 patches with the amount I smoked. Which I did. I got myself down to 1 patch and it has been 2 weeks since I began this journey. I had no cravings this morning so I decided to do an experiment due to my extreme headaches since I started these. No headache this morning at all. Two hours after waking up I started feeling irritable and had cravings to smoke so I went and put one full patch on. After 5-10 minutes headache began and I feel like I just chugged a double expresso because my heart is racing. I realize everyone is different and will have different experiences. But perhaps maybe do not follow instructions on the box. I just wanted to put this information out there. I’ve used the name brand patch before and did not have this problem.

It seems doubtful that this product truly contains 28 mg of nicotine. The effect is far less than the name brand Nicoderm CQ 21 mg.

I use 1/4 patch for energy and focus. Works well. If I forget to apply, by 2p, I know it. I get a mid afternoon slump without it. I don’t use it on my days off, just when I’m working. I love it.
