They are bright enough to light at least 4 or 5 stairs. I have the 3 going down the stairwell and with all 3 lit up, u can see all the stairs clearly.

I bought this to carry on cruises because the bathrooms do not have an outlet to plug in a nightlight. It worked very well. We recently went on a trip where several of the hotel bathrooms were about three inches higher than the bedroom floor. I put this on the floor outside of the bathroom. We did not stub our toes once in the middle of the night. Plus, the charge holds for days.

I bought this to use in the master bathroom water closet that has no sockets for a night light. Really like the “dim” setting and that its motion sensor operated. Rechargeable battery is still going strong after a month.

I fully charged it which didn't take long and I tested it in a dark room. Seems to work just as it says. I bought it to take on a cruise with us so haven't fully used it yet but it seems it will work good. Has 2 settings for brightness.

A mostly great light. I fully charged it and have been using it now for many days now without a recharge.The sensitivity of the sensor is above average for similar products. Few to no false activations during the day. Good success activating any time I walk by at night.Three criticisms together make me subtract one star. First, in a perfect world, I wouldn't mind it being slightly brighter (it's just a tad dim). The other minor criticism is when I get non-USB-C devices. I would really like to retire all of the old micro USB cables. The cable type is shown clearly in the listing so we all know what we're getting - but I'm comparing this against similarly priced competing devices. Lastly, the magnet on the unit could be a little bit stronger.The unit overall is a reasonable value.

Bought some Kalahol lights to put up the stairs. Cheap, and I can see why. Hopeless, battery lasts 5 minutes and they trigger each other, so had to take them off. These are much better, I have 4 up the stairs. Downward facing light is good, detection is good, battery life is good. All in all, very pleased.
