easy to erect
comes in a big bag that you can easily get everything back into.worth it for that alone. poles are all the same length and easy to slide into seams. if you ve put up this style of tent before its all straightforward. nice pegs bright guylines. removeable strengtheners for use in strong winds. nice porch too .great price

Great short break tent
Purchased this as a weekend tent as our main tent is too much work to erect and dismantle for a short break. Not used it properly to camp in yet, but put it up in the garden. Easy to erect and reasonably roomy inside. I am used to using a canvas tent so am interested to see how this compares in real use. It's nice and light and fits easily into the carry bag and erecting it for the first time took about 20 minutes which is much more sensible for a short break then the 2 hours+ our canvas tent takes.

Fantastically Large tent and will easily sleep 2 adults and 2 children with room for luggage and other activities.I've only set this up in the garden so far in preparation for our camping trip, but was very impressed with how large it is and how easily it was to stand up in. I'm 5'7" and had plenty of head room throughout. The flaps at the bottom of all the entrances will help to keep out the moisture, though they are a bit of a pain having to step over every time you enter and exit, and my 3 year old boys struggled a bit when getting used to it hence only the 4 star review. The groundsheet is a separate piece with the sleeping area sewn in which erects easily once the groundsheet is attached to the tent itself. Don't make the mistake of putting the groundsheet down first as I did to keep the tent clean, as it was much harder. Simply follow the instructions and you won't go wrong. Liked the fact the sleeping quarters divider was separate so you can either use as a large area with young children or separate areas as they get older. The space in the foyer area was great as well and very useful to be separate from the bedroom, but still inside. With the outer porch open as well there is so much room and I'm really looking forward to its first outing.I managed to erect this bad boy by myself but that wasn't easy - it really is a two person job and should be up in about 15 minutes once you've done it once.*** note the groundsheet is not sewn in as stated but rather clips in. This means its not particularly suitable for the colder months. The sleeping area does have a sewn in ground sheet though...

Its massive for a five berth as usually find them good enough for 3
I was a little put off as to Amazon advertised this as fully sewn in groundsheet on one write up then linked groundsheet on another . It is linked you get about 8-10 ins of groundsheet attached to tent and hook the separate groundsheet to this it is fitted to the bedroom not linked there however . Its massive for a five berth as usually find them good enough for 3 . the bedroom divider comes out to make one large bedroom .lovely black out bedroom had a great sleep in beginning of October.Didnt like the flimsy poles broke 2 but there was 35 mile gusts 40 mile gusts and we didn't take the awning down one broke and one centre pole first outing. Didn t like the side s at the rear were exposed by 2ins due to no fitted sewn in groundsheet like on my 8 berth sunncamp. However I paid £117 was a bargain material was great looks fantastic . I bought a vango foot print for a fiver with postage brand new off ebay bargain lol this is a must with this tent as seals the link groundsheet except for the gap at the rear sides being exposed . However this would be great in the summer as we were far too hot in our 8 berth sewn in ground sheet Sunncamp tent and our Kampa sandown 8 berth one that also had a built in groundsheet all in all I gave this 5 stars due to the price not the broken pole s that we have replaced we got 9 pieces off ebay to fit this for less than a tenner 7 to go lol .The gap at the sides at the rear are a pain but no condensation hardly at all even on 1st 2nd October . Brill for price would advise to take the awning down folds up great when sober lol. My old man raved about this tent more than any others we've had in 32 yrs of being together . I f you can get it for £117 go for it bargain of the year thanks Amazon

Faulty design, front pole will always break
This seemed a great tent until the front pole broke on the first day. If you look at it closely, it is a faulty design. It does not have enough support. So it should have more clips, or be a steel pole. Also, having no sewn in ground sheet really is not great for a tent of this size. There is much better out there at this price level. We have several Vango tents but this one was a disappointment.

Great and spacious tent
I had some problems working out how the poles were secured but once I'd mastered that, it's easy to erect (even on your own - thanks children!). Spacious, waterproof and well designed. Would highly recommend.

poles are very brittle and prone to splitting
although the tent is quite roomy, in hindsight I would go for one where the groundsheet is completely sewn in. The tent is waterproof but some of the toggles tore on first use and some of the cables were connected wrongly. However our main issue is that two of the poles split when we were erecting the tent for the third time. I seem to remember that a few other people had the same problem

Fonctionnelle
