Truvativ Descendant Carbon Eagle Dub Crankset - Boost

This is an awesome product much lighter than the nx crankset I started with but not as expensive side as x01 Carbon

I sort of balanced between this and the X01 crank. Tested both, and I for one cannot any difference but in price. This is 260, X01 is 450... quality is awesome.

A lot lighter than the GX aluminum cranks. I also put on my AbsoluteBlack oval on. Works great

Exceptional pedal, especially for the money. Extremely stiff and responsive.It's a great upgrade that doesn't break the bank.

Really a great price for a carbon crank

Best buy for my bike. Love that it is exactly the same as eagle gold but at a cheaper almost half the price. And it comes with a thick protective transparent film. So good

This product was listed as new and mine clearly came off a bike. The bottom of the crank arms have evidence of strikes with no boots and the arms were scratched and one was even chiped. The 8mm extraction bolt cap lock had evidence of being mounted. To make things worse, the crank I was sent was PF 30 and not a boost 148 as clearly advertised.

565 grams for $260 is a good deal! It comes with 32T ring but you have to buy the rubber boots. It also has protected film already installed on the arms but I added more films since the stock films weren’t covering the entire face of the arms. It doesn’t come with DUB BB so you will have to purchase that separately. Only 4 starts because the chainring was loud after about 10-12 miles of dry but not dusty dirt but the noise disappeared when I switched to Wolftooth ring. I’m running XX1 11 speed boost spacing with correct chain line. No noise however in my GX 12 speed drive train boost spacing. Crank looks nice and stealthy and no noticeable flex even though I have this setup on my hardtail (GG Pedalhead).

Amazing cranks for the money when you look at cost of xx1 and other carbon cranks. They are super stiff yet light and were a worthwhile upgrade from the truvativ 6k cranks I had due to weight reduction. They have alloy inserts for the pedals as maintains strength and alloy chain ring, rest is carbon. I also highly recommend crank books as carbon doesn't take rock strikes as well as alloy
