Medical Terminology and Anatomy for ICD-10 Coding 1st Edition

I work in a medical office's billing dept. I'm currently studying for my CPC exam, and I thought this would help me with anatomy and terminology. The book is well written and very accurate. It is an excellent study guide for the CPC exam, as well as for the upcoming transition to ICD 10. Anatomy and Terminology will be even more important in 2014. I'd recommend this book to get you ready for ICD 10, as well as to get extra help studying for the CPC exam.

Fantastic book, as it relates to ICD 10. Author did a fantastic job of clearly and directly explaining what to watch out for and the various Latin root words. Would definitely recommend this book to any one preparing for the ICD 10 changes. If you don't understand anatomy it will be impossible to correctly code. Ms. Shiland hit this one out of the park

I'm looking for a strictly Medical terminology book or flash cards. I don't want exercises and tests to take. This has some termimology in it, but I know there's alot more I don't have.

Good book for refreshing your knowledge of anatomy for the upcoming switch to ICD-10 and all the changes in the medical billing field.

This book is way better than another anatomy/coding book that my school uses. This book is very easy to learn from. A well thought out book. I'm glad another coder recommend this. I highly recommend this for anyone trying to learn medical coding!
