Auto Start Stop Eliminator for 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 2024 Chevy Traverse Equinox Malibu Blazer Cruze Trax Trailblazer GMC Terrain Engine Auto Stop Disable Error Free Autostop Bypass

I have a 2019 Chevy Malibu and I finally have that annoying Auto-Stop disabled, thanks to this eliminator cable from Mingrui. It is super easy to install, about five to six minutes and 100% compatible with my car. Once installed there is no indicator on the dash that the hood is open. In fact there is nothing on the dash to indicate that anything is amiss. I tested to confirm that the hood sensor still worked properly by popping the hood release and it promptly displayed on the dash (see picture) that it was "open". Took the car for a "test drive" (and to get some lunch) and not once did that annoying Auto-Stop engage. Pictures attached showing where the cable is attached next to the hood latch and how, once installed, it tucks in nice and snug and out of the way. There are two additional pictures of my dash showing nothing is amiss and the second picture for when I popped the hood release and how it correctly displayed the "Hood Open". Received this product today (13Jun26) and installed it on my 2021 Chevy Traverse LT. Took about a minute to install. All systems seem to work fine. Hood light stays off and remote start works fine. No other adverse effects yet. Drove it and the auto stop did not shut the engine down. Will rate a 5 for now and continue to monitor and update this review in a few weeks. 4 July 2026: This product continues to work great. Anyone that is annoyed or frustrated by the auto stop feature on a 2021 Traverse should give it try. Mine is working as advertised with no side or after affects. 10 Aug 2026: This product continues to perform as advertised on 2021 Chevy Traverse. I would recommend this product if you're tired of the auto stop feature. This will be my final update unless something occurs that needs noting.

2019 Chevy equinox 2.0 premier works great! Easy install. Now I do not stall at a round about/yield 🤦🏻‍♀️ stupid auto shut off was the dumbest invention ever 🙄

Got this for my boyfriend. Got sick of listening to him complain every time, and I mean every time, we used his car and the 2021 Traverse would automatically turn off when we stopped. Now the auto engine disable on the Traverse is almost not even noticeable but this annoyed my boyfriend to the max, which annoyed me having to listen to him every time we were in his car. So thru searching google for any way to disable this feature,2021 Traverse does not have a manual disable button for this feature like most cars do, I was able to find a hard way to do this through the car’s own system, won’t even go there, very complicated, and then the auto start/stop eliminator. So I searched on Amazon and found this. I chose this brand because it works with 2021 Traverse. Make sure you select the right year and make and model for your vehicle. It’s just a cable that connects to another cable under the hood of vehicle. Cable package has a QR code you scan for instant directions. Took my boyfriend 5 minutes to install. Took the car for a quick test drive and YAY! No more engine shutdowns. Based on some reviews I did make sure #1- the car started because it is push button start. #2- No CEL or any type of check engine light came on and #3- the remote start still worked. These were issues people claimed to have but we had none of these issues. It works great, boyfriend is happy and so am I!

Finally, no more hitting the button to turn off the auto-stop feature! I had tried another disable option for behind the display in the interior of the Blazer but it was so sketchy to take off the trim only to find that the wire harness didn't exactly meet up with the adapter. So when I found this for the engine bay, I decided to shoot my shot. So glad to have installed this. It's so much easier, a true plug and play. Disconnected the battery, removed the plastic guarding the engine under the hood, find the middle plug, just behind the hood latch. Disconnect the original harness and put in this jumper wire and instantly deleted the start/stop feature. I've have no lights, warnings or anything and my engine stays running. Excellent buyer and highly recommend for any Blazer owner.

I was very skeptical going into this. Then even more skeptical when I saw the part was only $10. I read bunch of reviews. For the 2019 Equinox. 1.5 L. All-wheel drive. No. Shut off. For the Stop start feature.((just like my vehicle- does no goog IMO to read reviews that is not your vehicle)) Our car has only 5,000 miles on it. We do not want to run into some of the stories that other people are saying about there vehicles with the stop/start feature, Ex:: replacing fusable links, replacing batteries Etc. Not to mention the annoying stop-start feature. I watch a few youtube videos and finally bought the part. Just like many have said.. I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW EASY IT WAS TO INSTALL. 5 mins to install part. Took more time just ordering, finding a few zip ties and grabbing some snips and screwdriver.. Seriuosly.. After installation I took my car for a test drive, No-dash lights on, no engine lights on and the car drove with out shutting off. And most importantly my remote start work just fine. Read reviews- watch a few videos to get comfortable and save yourself headache s and MONEY... great part, Highly reccomend. 2019 chevy equiniox AWD 1.5L no interior kill switch for stop start,, no issues with the part- excellent value, great quality as i did compair to other patrs listed on amazon before ordering. Great price for an easy fix. My husband had it on in five minutes.

Works as intended, but, the engine does an odd hesitation after a long run on the highway and you come to a stop. It’s as if the car is trying to do the goofy auto stop but of course it can’t. Recommend this to anyone however.

This Auto Start Stop Eliminator costs a little bit more than other ones, but this one works, on my 2019 Chevrolet Equinox 2.0 l turbo. If you want one that works, buy it. You get what you pay for.

Works great for my 2019 Chevrolet Traverse. Easy to install, stops the auto-stop and no issues with remote start or error codes. Should have bought it sooner.
