My Whirlpool refrigerator is designed to use the "Everydrop by Whirlpool" ice and water filter EDR1RXD1. While it's a high-quality filter, it's quite costly, especially since you're supposed to replace it 2-3 times a year. Regular replacement is essential for optimal filtering, which you can notice in the improved taste of the water and the better water pressure. An old filter can significantly reduce water flow.To save on costs, I've been exploring various third-party filter options, and I'm happy to share that the Crystala W1029537A filter is a perfect-fit replacement for the Whirlpool EDR1RXD1. I started ordering only one of these, and it popped right into my fridge without any issues -- and so far it's performing wonderfully, so then I ordered a 3-pack, which is an even better deal.Hopefully someone with more water-testing technical skills than myself will test some water after it passes through this filter to see how effective it really is in regards to filtering out undesirable particles/chemicals/etc... But although I can speak to the technical specifics, I can say that the water coming out of the filter tastes good to me, the water-pressure is good, and I haven't had any leaks.

Perfect and a really great deal! Our fridge filter is $$$, these are half the price of one name brand (for a single filter), and you get three! Fit perfectly, zero issues, sensor read it was replaced immediately , abd turned off reminder. We just moved into this house, apparently those here previously never changed that thing. Ew! But it's replaced now, and water/ice taste wonderful! Highly recommend!

Great option for the big name brand from the store. Much better value for this pack versus one at the store. Took just a couple of seconds to uninstall the old one and install the new one. Just pay attention to the orientation of the old one when you remove it so you know which way to put the new one. Also, verify that the o rings from the old filter came out with the old filter. If not, and it’s still in the filter holder, this will cause installation problems and/or leaks.After I ran a couple of gallons of water through the new filter, it was coming out clear and tasted good.Nelly with these. Good quality and fit on our Jennair fridge.

When I first looked at the filter I thought this is not the same thing. It comes with a plastic sleeve that fits on the filter. This sleeve makes it compatible with my Maytag refrigerator. I guess they make this for many different refrigerators and in order to make this work with mine they have added this sleeve. It does work with the sleeve so I guess, no harm, no foul. I change my filters regularly so it should last and the water so far taste the same as when we used an OEM filter. It is nice that you get three filters for what two would cost in a big box store.

I absolutely hated spending $47 for a single filter for my fridge water in the past. With these filters I can now pick them up for just $11.67 per filter!This 3 pack filter is a massive bargain and they seem to filter just as well as the much more expensive filters I've been purchasing in the past.They are easy to install and since they come in a 3 pack it will be a long time before I have to worry about ordering additional filters - highly recommend!

This water filter fits my Whirlpool as expected. The installation is very simple. The water quality after the filtration is good. Much better price than the name brand products.
