A magnet sticks to it and the density is less than real brass. Under the coating, the colour is too bright to be real brass. If you bought this product assuming it is real brass, please test it with a magnet. The photo shows a small magnet sticking to it. Real brass is non-magnetic and the magnet should not stick. I am returning this product.
