Worked where cheap lowes one stripped on water heater

Great socket - a very durable tool for removing and replacing a heating element in a water heater. I had no problem at all with slipping during either process. Not much more to say - other tools seemed to have durability issues, so I went with the sure thing. I'm glad I did. I may use it only a handful of times for its intended purpose, but hey, I have a 1 1/2" socket now.

Used for hot water heater elements change out

Bought to remove heater element on electricity water heater you need the deep socket don't bother with the tin garbage at the hardware store this is a little more money and fits correctly and removed them without issue

Works great on water heater elements

This “socket” makes changing a heating element almost fun. It is very solid and it does not take much torque to losses the base of the element. I liked this thing so much that I bought one for a friend of mine. The pricing of the item is very reasonable if you compare this item to a standard water heater wrench. Very happy.

Did the job but you do have to be careful to not let it slip off the heating element. The top came off easy out the bottom slipped twice I was getting nervous it was going to strip. For the price, a heating element wrench would have done the job without fear of stripping but I wanted to try with this. I bought it for use on other things as well so win win.
