First time I dropped my phone my glass shattered. That's super disappointing because I read such great reviews on this product. Now my $750 is worth nothing and I have another 23 months to pay it off. Not happy. I dropped it off a table at Starbucks, and when I picked it up I thought maybe the case had shattered and protected the glass. Quite the opposite, the glass shattered and nothing happened to the case. Update; I do need to add that they returned my money in full not only for the one phone case I bought but for 2 phone cases because we purchase to at the same time. I am grateful for that. My phone is still cracked

Just got it today and it fully covers my Galaxy S9 without interrupting any of the functions. Slim but feels sturdy and I love the built in screen protector. I never get those to go on properly and this eliminates the struggle. No drops yet so I can't attest to how shatter resistant it will be. Good purchase especially for the price and fast Prime shipping.Updated 7/28/18: Handed this to someone at a drive thru window height and they dropped it onto the concrete. Barely 2 nicks on the screen protector. It worked great with no damage to the phone itself. Would definitely recommend

It's a little hard to get on, but that just means it won't fall off. I've had name brand otterboxes that might assemble easily, but end up falling off when you drop them, and getting dirt under them because they're loose, have not had that problem with this case once. I've dropped my phone many times on hard surfaces, and I've yet to break my phone, or even the case, so it does the job and does it well. Only thing is the screen protector scuffs easily, it's totally scuffed up right now but you can only notice in a certain light. Overall I'd recommend this case, it does a good job at what it's made for.

EDIT : after writing this review i was contacted by youmaker and was told that some of my concerns could be due to the product i received being defective. as such they offered me a replacement at no cost. i was honestly quite suprised by this as i didn't feel that my review was overly critical of their product and as i have stated - as far as cases with kickstands go there aren't really any better options. nevertheless i accepted their offer and a few days later received the new case.my original review was for three stars and i increased it to four for the following reasons -the seller/customer service department for this is really top notch. the offer for a replacement after a review of the issues i expressed was unexpected and appreciated. On top of this they handled it very courteously and professionally. The secondary item was received in a timely manner and without issue.the other thing that i noted was that one of the issues i had with the case was that the kickstand didn't click into place very well when closing it. the second one i got snaps into place quite a bit better and doesn't feel nearly as loose so its possible that the first on i received was incorrectly manufactured.the plastic that is used for the screen protector was unchanged and still had the issues that i described in the previous review so i can't give the case 5 stars, but nevertheless it is a good case and i feel like i got my moneys worth out of it.if your willing to take off the plastic screen protector then this case is well worth having for your phone. it offers good protection and doesn't have an uncomfortable feel. after using it for a little over a week i can say that i do like it and now that the kickstand snaps into place correctly i don't really have much to feel unsatisfied about.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I'll start off with the good first. The construction feels pretty solid. If I dropped it I assume this would protect my phone pretty well. The kickstand has pros and cons, but I do like the idea behind it. It does a good job of holding up the phone in either orientation. The feel of it is just OK.The look of the case is alright. The indentations on the back give it a bit of style. The soft look of the rubber next to the grainy look of the plastic is subtle but attractive. There are a few extruded pieces that seem to be more for aesthetic purposes than practical and could have been done away with. The shininess is a bit exaggerated in the photos, however it has a nice look in person as well.This case makes the phone quite a bit more bulky, however the rubber material does give a sense of protection along with good grip. The side buttons are responsive and well designed, no complaints there. The one issue that I have in this area is the bottom ports. They're covered up by plastic for no apparent reason. This case isn't meant to be air tight and the speaker right next to these ports is left completely open. The covering plastic is made considerably worse by the way its designed. There is a considerable amount of resistance in the rubber and it doesn't snap into place once it's moved out of the way. Your stuck holding it while you try to plug in a cord. Considering that Samsung decided a port cover was unnecessary I can't understand why the designers thought this was a good idea.I purchased a wireless charger as well and this case does work fine with it. For the most part this solved the problem above, but at some point I'll be away from it need a charge and go back to wondering who thought placing hard rubber over the charge port was a great idea.A major con on this case was the "screen protector", which is just a flimsy piece of plastic. Why they don't sell it without this "feature" is beyond me. Dust will be stuck between your phone and it, but the major problem is that it doesn't and never will sit completely flush with your phone. This leads to color distortion in dark areas. You can remove it which I suggest you do if your going to get this case, the only issue with that is that it's stuck on here with either side type of glue or double sided tape. If you don't want your $800 device covered in sticky residue your gonna need to remove it after taking out the plastic protector. It's a pain but it's much better without it...The last thing I'll touch on is the kickstand. The reason I kept this case instead of returning it. This thing is in no way perfect, but it works. It's a little loose, meaning when it's closed it moves around just slightly enough to be annoying. It can also pop out of its holder if your rough with it. Even with those issues it's still better than the other ones I've seen. Once it's snapped into place it works just as I expect it to. It's possible over time the lock will wear out at which point you have to replace it, but without the ability to use any metal parts (wireless charging) that's just the way it is.All in all the case is decent. It's not great and there are better choices if you want a case without a kickstand, but if your looking for a kickstand case that doesn't turn your phone into a brick there doesn't seem to be many better options than this.

We bought phones at Costco and came with Pelican Phone Cases. Now I know Pelican Rules when it comes to cases for guns, audio, IT equipment. The phone case was just hard to use. There was no screen cover and the case slid easily. So there it went from my kitchen counter onto the floor. my S5 had a case from Ballistic but could not find it for the S9. So I bough this one. The case is is just about perfect. The front cover, screen protector fits like OJ's clove and is not to big or to small. So you clean the screen with a Microfiber cloth to get everything off, remove the protective cover on the inside of the screen protector and place the phone in there. Then place those two inside the back cover that really fits well. The remove the front protective cover and you are all set. The side buttons work they way I like them, easy to push. The Screen Protector does not interfere with the screen for as far as I can tell. The data/power USB C port has a cover as well and that can be a pain to use each night. But, you can cut that off, or better buy the wireless chargers which I will do today for my home and office. I transfer most of my data with OneDrive as is synced to my computers from anywhere over VPN to my Synology NAS.

Ive had this case for a few months now. The screen protector is pretty badly scratched up. The top part of tge front of the case is cracked. Today at work i was up a ladder and answered a call, dropped my phone 5 meters onto a concrete floor. I thought it was going to be smashed to bits. Nope. Not a scratch or dent. Buy this case if you are stupid like me and answer calls at heights.

This case is seemingly great. Sturdy to hold your phone and feels safe in your hand. I was initially very impressed by mine and the touch response is great through the screen protector until the front broke (no idea how it happened, but the phone was never dropped). Which I believe rendered it too fragile to continue using to protect my phone within. Luckily, I liked it enough to get another one. Hope this new one lasts me longer, as I'd not purchase another one of these if this is a weak spot. Maybe I just had a faulty one.Edit - I was kindly offered a refund for my original broken phone case. Very impressive customer service!Second edit - This second case has now cracked along the bottom front again. It seems to be a very weak spot and the phone has never been dropped or abused.

Arrived today great product easy to attach to phone feels great and looks good also the screen protector is perfect aswell no bubbles or anything really please with the product

This has a good strong case and the stand is good and strong, would of given it 5 stars but the front plastic protector was seriously bent and damaged so couldnt use it wasnt worth sending back as back case is fine, so instead bought a gorilla glass to protect the front overall though a really nice case

This was so easy to fit on my new phone, and it's well worth the price, it's not bulky and don't make the phone heavy, it's been lovely made and the colour is great, I would recommend this cover to anyone who wants to protect there phone front and back, I will,defiantly buy again once I get another upgrade.
