it worked tho i don't know if win 7 or it's [battery] own scale? i'm not sure of proper word for discharge rate/charge of battery. i got it put it in. said it was 2 hours worth of full at 62% or something so i left it unattended for 20 min or so. when i went to check on it, it was TOTALLY DEAD. It did charge. it's only a backup lappy so i have barely used it maybe 5 times in the last month since purchase and i HAVE NOT had it off cord only once since purchase. i needed to recover some hard drives, so i could not leave it off cord.Main purpose of review for now is just to warn DO NOT TRUST INITIAL time duration of battery out of package before initial FULL charge

I have been struggling to get my laptop up and running and encounter a lot of disappointments. So can you imagine how excited I am that my laptop is up and running due to this battery…. A breathe of fresh air and thank God I didn’t have to return..

My old battery would not let me unplug the power cord with out alarming and stopping usage. Somewhat satisfied.

I think the original battery for my Acer Aspire 5534 did not last more than 2-4 hours. This battery lasts about 90 minutes with a full charge. I keep my charging cable attached nearly all the time and only disconnect to use the battery when I must go without the power cable.

The battery is as described. We replaced our old battery and now our laptop works perfectly!

I didn't know what was wrong with my older laptop, over >5+ yrs and didn't want to toss it bcz of the files i have on it. Well, i figured i should change out the battery and lo and behold, it worked. Before you toss or send it out because it just won't power on, try replacing the battery first. Im glad i did.

great product but you have to watch witch one your buying some do not match the battery numbers

Battery life on this is at least equivalent if not longer than the battery that came with my laptop.
