If it’s on a bill - DON’T USE
I like this concept because it’s more aesthetically pleasing for a yard, but even the slightest hill will make it not function well at all. Water pools and doesn’t escape the device. Wish it had tiny holes across the bottom rather then two drip nozzles.

Works great but can be annoying to fill
Works great but can be annoying to fill. Added bonus is it keeps weeds and grass from creeping if you leave it in place. Would be nice if it had some sort of adapter for a garden hose. I end up having to hold up the intake towards the end so air can be released while its filling up.

They only water for 3-4 hours
They do what the promise but...It is a hassle to fill up the bags everyday. I wish they would last longer. I have 13 new trees that I thought this would be the best solution, turns out it was just easier to do a rain dance.

How hard would it be to make the hole large enough to insert a hose?
Filling this item is time consuming because the hole is too small to insert a hose. I have to kneel next to it and hold the hose in place. Since it only holds water for about 4-5 hours and I have installed eight so far - this is not a welcome task. Should have been easy enough to make the hole just bit larger.

Easy way to water a tree
Slow release is ideal for watering small to medium trees (you can water big trees with it, but you won't reach most of the roots because the water is released over a small area). Easy to fill and move.

Cap won't close without a lot of work
This is the second one I bought. Works great. My only complaint is the difficulty I had closing the cap. I strained my thumbs trying to press the two parts together. Finally gave up and walked away and left the water pouring everywhere. Tried again a few days later and finally got the cap to close. The summer heat softened the plastic. Since then it has closed easily.

Ground must be level
As long as it’s level it works pretty good. If your ground isn’t level I definitely do not recommend it.
