UPDATE: After Customer Service helped us understand what to do.
We put this in our small camper. It works very well so far. Only complaint is that is noisy. It comes on for a short burst and them comes on until the camper reaches temperature. UPDATE: Customer service contacted us on this AC and advised us on the way to use the AC in extreme heat. It has made a difference in the level of noise. It does put out an acceptable amount of cool air.

NOISY COMPRESSOR MAKES IT INAPPROPRIATE FOR CHILD'S BEDROOM
It's 2025. Air conditioners should be a no-brainer at this point. But, this unit is AWFUL. I bought it for my son's room for the convenience of the wifi and being able to control the temperature remotely. That part is not even close to working. HOWEVER, I could get past that if the unit actually operated somewhat normally. The minute the compressor kicks on, it makes a horrible squealing sound. After a while, the sound lessens, but does not stop. This would not function well at all in a room for a child. It would easily wake him up. So, I'm keeping the unit for my office (I can deal with the noise momentarily) and I'm moving a 10+ year old air conditioner into his room because it's significantly quieter. Buyer beware on this one. I don't usually write reviews on Amazon, but I felt compelled to share my disappointment.

Works but is loud!
Cools the room as it should but is also is quite loud here's hoping it holds up for a year or two.

Great AC
It works great. A little noisy, but worth it. I love the bluetooth feature so I can turn it on prior to getting home and have my room cool when I arrive. Worth the extra money for the bluetooth feature in my opinion!

Air air condition was purchased as a gift for my granddaughter and worked perfectly. I will recommend a product.

Such a good buy!
Got these for upstairs bedrooms- the rooms are not small & I was afraid I might need them on high all the time but they actually cool so well it never has to be on high. Very quiet too & then it has remote control! Very pleased with this purchase & highly recommend
