I broke the charging phone on my iPhone when it was still pretty new by using an aftermarket charger. I took it to Apple for repair and they said it was unfixable and I had voided my warranty. I used wireless charging for years until I needed to replace my battery. I decided to DIY the battery replacement and decided to chance it with this part while I had the phone taken apart. Taking your iPhone apart is not a task for the faint of heart, but this part is great and helped me restore functionality of this port for under $10.

Got this for my iPhone SE4 to replace bad charging port. Was thinking about taking it to a local repair shop but thought the cost for repair would be more than the phones worth. Was hesitant at first buy viewing a video on YTube decided to give it a try. Could not pry apart case with a thin metal blade had to use a suction cup to separate case. Screws are small so recommend a magnetic screwdriver. keep track of screws you take out, so you know where to put them back. Very tedious for me but got the job done. Charging port works better than new, SATISFACTION?

Did not work after being installed correctly. Easy to tell its low quality just by visually comparing it to the original. The phone turns on, but the charging port doesn’t work.

Great replacement, my daughter's iPhone could only be charged wirelessly because of the messed up port and this solved the problem without any issues.

Seems to work well. My phone charges now. Installation takes a while, and I used some reading glasses to magnify my view, but well worth fixing my phone rather than get a new one, or paying someone $100 to fix it.

I've successfully swapped out parts in my previous iPhones, so I wasn't daunted to replace the charging port on my 5 year old phone. I spent three hours being extra careful in taking my SE 2nd Gen apart, installing the new charger port assembly and reassembling my phone. I powered it up and my screen, apps, content, all performed as normal. Hurray! I then put my charger cable into the port and it fit perfectly and snugly. Hurray! Next, I plugged it in a power source and my phone will NOT charge! Obviously this replacement dock connector charging port is defective. it will charge on a charging pad, but in use the phone kept cycling itself off every time I tried to use it. I had to buy a new phone in a hurry. I can't recommend this charging port replacement part. Update: 10/22/25 The vendor reached out to me and has insured a full refund for this part. I updated my one star review to a three.
