So disappointed!
I rarely leave a bad review, but there's nothing else that can be given for this purchase. I had such high hopes for this bed since it came so highly recommended by another large dog owner. Unfortunately, it didn't even withstand one week in my household. After 2 days I washed the cover since the dog drool could be seen. When it came out of the laundry, it appeared to be stained where the drool was. Someone had an accident on the bed, so I decided to wash the bed itself (in a commercial sized washer, large enough to wash King sized bedding) and the bed literally fell apart. Save your money and purchase something else. I had bought a bed from Petco 7 years ago that is still in better shape than this one and that (and its cover) have been washed countless times.

After washing the cover and trying to it back on the bed gets a little bit bunched up but it is very easy put back on
I've had multiple dog bed at once with multiple large dogs around and they all gravitate to this bed. Who jumps in it first gets it, and as soon as that dog gets up another dog jumps on it. I've washed it countless times and it has been very durable. After washing the cover and trying to it back on the bed gets a little bit bunched up but it is very easy put back on. The dogs then don't seem to mind getting on the bed and making it comfy for themselves. I highly recommend this bed.

I had been looking for a new bed for my dogs that was durable and easy to maintain and came across Dog Gone Smart beds and instantly fell in love. The quality of the bed looked better then the beds I had purchased in the past that ended up falling apart after a few months so I just had to buy it and I am so happy with this purchase. I would recommend it for sure and my dog loves it, he used to spend his time on the couch or in our bed but now enjoys his own bed!!
