After trying cheaper lighters, and having them break down and fail to light after months, weeks, or days, I finally wised up and went back to the best - Xikar. The only way you lose when you buy this product is if you lose it. Otherwise it is hands down the best on the market!

Lighter works. Make sure to bleed. Has +/- adjustment wheel on bottom of tank. Mine wont light unless on 2nd half of travel. I guess its supposed to be like that.

These are great at first, but after a while, they won't stay lit for more than a half a second -- even when put on high and full of Xikar fuel. On lower settings, they don't light at all.I've never used anything but Xikar fuel and have always followed the filling instructions. I have several of these and they all do the same thing.I could send them in on warranty, but I'd have to jump though the hoops, pay the postage, and they'd only work for a few months at the most.

Nowadays I only buy Xikar lighters... love the lifetime warranty. Had one brake, my fault, and was replaced with no questions asked.Update: After using it for a while, this is not their best product. Large flame control wheel is plastic and only lasted a couple of weeks before it broke. Was replaced by Xikar and now the lighter keeps loosing fluid.
