This is very good value. loaded with decent line and works well. Comes with an empty spare spool as well. Be careful when ordering a sea reel from Amazon, as the last one I bought was described as salt water proof, but was tiny. Would have made a lovely small river reel, but useless for real sea fishing. At least no problem returning to Amazon, refunded promptly.It is quite hard to see the line capacity on some pages. It would be helpful if Amazon put the words sea reel in big letters at the start of each advert, but the other reel may have been described by a third party seller. Quick delivery as well. Lasted a couple of months but u get what you pay for , handle snapped and returned it with no problem and got a replacement but after weeks it happened again , good reel for kids maybe but not reliable for most users.

Only used this once so far. It's not the lightest, but seems sturdy and strong, with a good sized handle. It fits a standard rod (I used mine with a Shakespeare Beachcaster). It has a nice quiet action and seems to spin very smoothly. It got covered in mud and kept going without issue. Happy so far. These things can go up to hundreds of pounds, but for my needs (a bit of beach fishing) it seems great at the price.

I use this for beach casting with 50lb braided line. works really well! It is quite "chunky" and gives a solid well built feel.Ive been using this for over a year now with no problems at all.Great for the price! oh... and the spare spool works a treat come mackrell season.
