Playmobil 4398 Take Along Western City, Fun Imaginative Role-Play, PlaySets Suitable for Children Ages 4+

Very well thought out and executed play set even down to the removable jailhouse wall so that the outlaw can "blast" his way out! Very good build quality. Judging by the range of accessories supplied someone at Playmobil has a good sense of humour. The advantage for harassed parents (or grandparents) is that all the figures and other pieces can be stored inside the folding, lockable "town" case. The advantage for the kids is that the town has both front and interior scenes to double the play value and there are lots of additional play sets to add later. What's not to like?Interestingly, although the box front indicates that these toys are not suitable for under 4 year olds in the UK, the small print on the sides states that in virtually every other country in the world they are considered suitable from 3 years of age. That said there are lots of small bits so use with care. May need help from an adult to assemble depending on the age of your child.One minor point is that there do not appear to be many individual figures available in the Western range - most come in play sets.

You just can't go wrong with Playmobil in my opinion, it's tactile and sturdy and their attention to detail is fantastic. We have a mountain of playmobil, both bought and passed on but this is my 5 year olds favourite! There are three figures, two horses, furniture, lots of accessories and even a cactus, It clips together to carry along really easily, the only issue we have had is that sometime the verandas and strips above the doors can be quite easily knocked off. We lost one on holiday, much to my little boys disappointment, but for a couple of pounds we ordered another to replace it from the Playmobil spares website. We bought this for £15.00 on a deal and it's probably the best thing we've bought for my little boy, he plays with it for hours.

This was fun toy - a lot of story making especially after having watched Toy Story and Toy Story 2 and 3 with Grand-daughter. Perhaps also a nostalgic look back to my own cowboys and indians lead figures

My wife and I have built a western themed garden railway in 45mm G gauge (it's a retirement thing you understand). There are a number of building kits available on the market to suite but they are very expensive (£ooo's!)However, Playmobil produce some excellent items that perfectly suite in their "Western" range which are to the same scale. A super water tower, school house and this particular pair. It is note obvious that these are toys and with a minimum of adjustment look excellent in the background. When purchased on-line directly from Playmobil they are cheaper than in toy stores and don't come in printed boxes, but the instructions are there. They are all weatherproof and robust, although the fading qualities in UV light is not yet known. All of the ones we've bought are around £20-25. Simples!

Great starter set for the price. I ended up buying two so I could turn them into other stores to make a nice western town. Buildings can be taken apart.

This was far and away the best present my Nephew (aged 7) received on Christmas morning. He played with it constantly all day. We also got him the Outlaw Hideout which could be used alongside the Western City. Very successful indeed.

We love Playmobil for it's durability & fabulous details. I knew my 5 year old son would really enjoy this set, which he does but it has a few issues. One of the front building overhangs just won't stay on. The slightest knock and it falls away. This frustrates my son as he wants the whole set constructed as it is intended. Interestingly the other overhang is fine so perhaps we have a dude set. One of the bottom sections that creates a walk out from the buildings also doesn't click into it's slot securely. As a whole the set is great. Usual great detailing. I bought some extra cowboys & cowgirls to add to it so my daughter or a friend could also play. I might look at super gluing the offending front fascia into place but really I shouldn't have to.

although a little difficult to put together once assembled it is great. My 6 year old grandson really liked the fact that you could shut it up altogether when finnished playing with it. Nice attention to detail

Der Spielzeugkoffer WildWest ist super verarbeitet und lässt sich bei Bedarf auch mitnehmen. Es gibt reichhaltig Zubehör und nur 2 Sticker. Es lassen sich hier diverse Szenarien nachspielen, da es sich hier um ein Sheriff Department und um eine Bank handelt. Ich werde das spielset noch um weitere Gebäude ergänzen, so erhält man schnell eine kleine Westernstadt und folglich ein komplett neues Thema. Super Einstieg in die Plamo Westernwelt. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Es ideal, juegan con sus múltiples accesorios (no le faltan detalles, billetes, bolsas de "dinero", caja fuerte, armario para escopetas, armas...) y luego se guardan todos dentro, se cierra el maletín y hasta el próximo día.Cuando lo abres por primera vez tienes que montar ciertas piezas, esto también entretiene a los niños con ayuda de un adulto.Voto de confianza para Amazon por excelente soluciónEl sábado 8 de febrero contacte con Amazon para informar que en el juguete faltaba una pieza (precisamente el gancho que cierra el maletín) el lunes 10 me llegó otro juguete, esta vez completo y me enviaron email con etiquetas para la devolución del primer envio.Otra solución habría sido enviar sólo la pieza que faltaba pero como me indicaron que esto no podía hacerse, yo solo cogí del segundo envio la pieza que me faltaba dejando el resto de piezas del producto sin tocar porque las del primer envío ya estaban todas las bolsas abiertas y los accesorios montados.Un saludo.

ottimo prodotto a ottimi prezzi anche rispetto a siti concorrenti come ebay dove ho trovato lo stesso prodotto ma ha prezzi maggiori e pure usato...qui inoltre avevo la certezza che sarebbe arrivato a casa mia in tempi rapidissimi. il prodotto è perfetto per un bambino, adatto a sviluppare la sua immaginazione, la banca e lo sceriffo sono fatti molto bene, meglio direi dei vecchi set e con moltissimi accessori. Il playmobil direi dalla mia esperienza, al contrario del lego, è meglio quello più nuovo rispetto ai vecchi modelli che erano molto scadenti di dettagli. I cavalli sono splendidi, le armi molto più dettagliate e gli omisi hanno vestiti e facce molto belli. Ci sono moltissimi accessori come soldi e sacchi di monete, armi e fucili, redini dei cavalli tavoli e sedie, le due "casette" sono anche facilmente staccabili l'una dall'altra per creare sempre nuove storie.
