Laptop Privacy Screen 14 Inch 16:9 Aspect Ratio

This is a great product. I used method 2 (sticking on the plastic brackets and sliding in the screen) and it only took a few minutes. There was no worrying about bubbles. I stuck an extra bracket at the top because I don't plan to remove it. Only one thing would make it better. If the stick-on brackets had a matte finish like the bevels on the laptop, they would be practically invisible. (They are mostly invisible anyway.) Also the fit was perfect for my 15.6" screen.

This is the second of these protectors I've purchased. The first one worked just as it should. I dropped the tablet and the protector did its job but got a hairline crack from the impact. The screen was undamaged as promised. I've installed many of these protectors on tablets, phones and ipads so I know how to install without dust flecks, bubbles or misalignment. The instructions are very clear and if you follow them closely and patiently, you will have a good outcome. Patience and proper preparation are important and don't install if you are in a dusty or very dry environment with static.

I ordered the wrong size for my laptop without realizing it. In the packaging, it says to email the company if you need a different size. I did, and they sent me the size I wanted immediately! Their team was so courteous and quick. I put the new screen on my laptop and it's perfect.People can't see what's on my screen if they're sitting next to me. Included in the box are multiple tabs to stick the privacy screen to your laptop, which is useful because I accidentally knocked one of the tabs off by being too rough while sticking something in my backpack lol, so now I can just replace it with another one! They're easy to apply, and I can slide the privacy screen right out whenever I want to show someone something on my screen. Also, there are two ways to apply the screen, so you don't have to use the tabs if attaching them to the rim of the screen isn't an option for your laptop.The sheet does darken the appearance of my screen a little, so I have to increase the brightness by one or two notches. But I'm guessing that would be true for any privacy screen.Advice: Be careful with the privacy screen. If you take it off, don't set it down on your desk if there are things around it. I've accidentally creased it once, probably by putting something on top of it on my desk. That's the only reason I can see myself needing to buy a new one in the future.

Worked great. Attached to the screen with a magnetic. Offered privacy. Easy to use but it did not fit my screen exactly but I may have needed to order the size up. I did not use the sticky tabs that it came with.

It fit perfectly on my ThinkPad T14. The installation is very straight forward. I really like this product. I use it to have privacy at work and it works. I have to show my laptop screen to my coworkers sometimes so I have not glue the screen shield to the laptop so I can't comment about the stickiness. It stays in place if I dont move the screen too much. Using screen cleaning liquid to clean it also helps to keep it in place. It doesn't have the best touch sensitivity but it works for what I need it and the price.It does have a glare but the easy fix is to flip it and problem solved. Or if you want to see who is behind you or anybody passing by you, the glare helps.

1 star, and only because 0 isn't an option.This is advertised as a 14 inch 16:9 privacy screen. It is not. It's way too small, not even close to the advertised size, and doesn't come close to covering my 14 inch screen. The size listed on the product page is just wrong.A privacy screen that doesn't fit the screen is useless. Don't waste your money, measure twice and buy from a brand that actually lists honest dimensions.

Summary:Pros: nice matte finish, reduces glare a lot.Super easy to install and adjust!Cons: matte version: if it’s not fully flush against the screen, you can see little color dots. Though they give you sticky tabs to prevent thatComputer pops open if it’s on its side.Long version:Bought the matte version. Matte finish is nice and reduces sharp glares, but you can see some color dots when it’s on, especially if there is a gap when the screen protector is on the screen. They do give you little sticky tabs to attach the bottom of the protector to the computer, but that defeats the whole purpose of a magnetic screen. Probably better to get the clear version.Installation: One side is smooth, and the other is matte. I installed it with the magnetic side on the outside so the magnetic protrusion doesn’t touch the screen. Very easy to slide and adjustVery easy to install and take off. Fits well, BUT! READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY when the screen protector is on, the magnetic closure on the computer doesn’t work. So if you stand your computer up on its side, the MacBook Air computer will pop open! If you’re fine with that (because the only time your computer is on its side is when you travel, and it’s unlikely to pop open) then it is still a good protector.Camera cover- I didn’t use it because you need to stick it directly onto your computer screen. I thought it would be stuck on the screen protector, but there is a gap on the screen protector for the camera. The cover seems to slide well though. Would be better if the camera cover was on the screen protector
