Over all: This is a beautiful, well constructed bag that is ideal for small carries. Looks: I found the pink color to be less bright in real life than it appears on the Amazon page, but it's a very nice, pleasing color. The contrast is also well chosen and looks sporty. The shape is attractive and the stitching is clean and secure. Zippers are easy to pull closed and open, no sticking or tugging. Utility: I found the bag to be too small for my regular trips to the gym, for which I carry a change of clothes (sneakers, shirt, shorts, socks, underthings, and a hoodie). I'm a 6' person, so my feet are pretty large - I suspect that a petite person would be able to get a full change in there with no issues. It works extremely well if I just want to carry, say, my sneakers and my ipad or a couple of books and a water bottle. I would not hesitate to make it my "handbag" for airplane travel, it's secure and extremely easy to access. I did notice that it is never a problem to get into any of the pockets, you don't have to dig through your stuff to get to anything. I love that, many of my previous backpacks have been nothing but trouble if I wanted to get something out of a pocket. It's easy to carry and the weight of the bag itself doesn't add any inconvenience. Possibly because it's small, I haven't had any pulling on my shoulders or uneven weight issues, but I also do think it has to do with the good design of the bag. If you're carrying small amounts of things, or you're a petite person in general, I'd say this bag is a great investment.

As someone who used to work in Sporting Goods for a major retailer and dealt a lot with backpacks and luggage, I can say that I am slightly disappointed with the quality of this fitness bag. Comparing the material of this bag with ones by CaseLogic, it is definitely inferior. This bag might be designed in Colorado, but it is made in China. My main concerns with this item: - smaller and less room than needed for my gym stuff - the Powerberry color is not as bright and shiny as in the Amazon pictures - The bottom of the bag does not seem to be designed to hold heavy stuff - it seems to be of the same quality and material as some of my coolers. I would recommend this bag for kids, or if you plan to hold a pair of gym shoes and maybe a T-shirt inside. Not too much room for anything else.

This bag is perfect for day outings. Beach, downtown los angeles and theme parks are some of the things that come to mind that this bag is perfect for. I found it to be very lightweight and comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Today i wore it for 6 hours with zero discomfort. This backpack just screams sleek and style. I feel great when using it. It hugs my body perfectly and the straps did not even budge a little bit like they were going to fall off my shoulders, a common problem i have with backpacks. It stayed firmly in place the entire time while walking and using public transportation. The two side water bottle pockets are very deep and you can only see the top of the cap on a 16oz water bottle. I liked this since i didn't have to worry about them falling out when i had to take the pack on and off. I think the pack could easily hold a much bigger water bottle also because of this. The main zipper is amazing design IMO. If you fill the pack with clothes, shoes, drinks, etc, you can lay it down on a flat surface and unzip the entire length of the pack to make finding things inside it much easier. The main area also has a small zippered pouch inside that is roughly 6x8" which i used to hold sunblock and sunglasses+case. The backpack also comes with a separate gray bag that is a good size and can hold shoes or a dirty pair of clothes, maybe both depending on how big the shoes are. The last zipper is located on the right(when wearing on your back) and near the inner side of the stitching, so it almost rests on your shoulder. You cannot access it while wearing the bag, at least i couldn't, it's too high up. Its opening is about 5 1/2" and 7" deep. I stored my phone, a small wallet, keys, and an extra battery pack in here. It opens up pretty wide and makes it easy to stick your hand in it and feel around for what you need without having to take everything out. I would recommend this bag to others and I love it. I will be using this a lot for anytime i need something that holds more than my purse. Its comfortable, functional, and stylish.

I feel like this bag is exceptional. The bag is super lightweight. I like the waterproof bottom. I like the front zipper, that goes from top to bottom, it's harder to lose things or forget about things in the bag. I have size 11 lady feet/skis. These fit in the bag. I can fit shorts, tee, giant shoes, towel, sports bra, change of undergarments, swimsuit, phone, iPod, snack, and two water bottles. If I also wanted to pack a change of clothes for after the gym, that is not as likely to fit once cool weather hits. This bag is perfect for heading to the gym with one change of clothes. If you were going to say; leave from work, go to the gym, and then change to go out for a movie - it might be a snug fit. If you are going to the gym, changing back into street/work clothes, then it's great. I really liked the reinforced hook! Apera has a number of bags, I would suggest perusing them to assess your needs and then selecting the fitness bag that will hold up to all your gym going needs. This beats my old backpack, if for nothing more than it doesn't stink when you put your swimsuit and towel in it. The front zipper opens the bag completely. How many times did you put something in your regular back pack and then forget all about it, to find a soggy stinky granola bar a week later, or that stray sock you gave up on.
