Love my Nuwave Diamond cooktop
My husband and I are full-time RVs and we love to travel. When I came across this Nuwave cooktop I was hooked period I donโt like using the propane stove so this cooktop was better for me. And itโs a good size that I could fit in one of the drawers. I use this cook every day for every meal. Itโs so versatile that you can do just about anything in it. Now the diamond is a little different than my older unit and the settings are a little different. Itโs automatically set to 500. Which of course you can adjust. Another new feature with the diamond is there are different wattages from 900 to 1400 to cook your Foods. And of course at the 1400 W setting your food cooks a bit faster so you have to control your temperature a little bit more. The size is very space-saving. Itโs very easy to use it. Cleans up easy and I find that Food cooks evenly all over the pan or pot that youโre using. I highly recommend this unit weather you live in a house, Motorhome or are going camping. Also, with my cooktop, it comes with a probe and a probe holder. In one of my pictures, it shows the probe, and I also demonstrate the probe in the holder in the pot. You would insert the probe into whatever youโre cooking. I used a very, very thick pork chop, and I used the probe in that and I was very surprised at how well, the probe worked in cooking the pork chop to completely done and it was very moist and juicy in the inside of the chop. And you can use it on just about anything. So if youโre looking for something convenient, easy to use, easy to clean and , small enough, depending on the size that you buy, to fit in just about any drawer or cabinet you may have. Again, I highly recommend this and itโs the only thing I use when cooking. Also, it cuts down on the heat when cooking. Like when you use your stove, how it heats up your house you wonโt have this with your cooktop. And to me, thatโs a plus.

Very capable and flexible induction cooktop
These Nuwave induction cooktops are unique because of their round shape. It is quite compact; I really like it. It also allows you to limit the current draw; useful in my antique house. This model has a temperature probe, which gives more control over meat and fish cooking. I use it with a non-slip sheet between cooktop and pan; this helps a lot with slippery pans, and helps keep the cooktop clean. The quality is good; the flexibility and features are great for the money. I would buy it again.

Boils water extra fast and easy to control. Better than a stove top.
Love this extra portable burner.

I still use and like it since October 2025
I purchased this in October of 2025. I needed a unit that worked with some of my new smaller pots and pans. I like this unit. I haven't used the probe yet. You do have a power button and a start button. The power button lets you pick the temperature and other options, then you push the start button when you are ready to cook. Early on I forgot to push the start button and wondered why it didn't work (my older unit from about 10 years ago I just turned on. I also still use that for other pots and pans). My older unit is not this brand. I use both my units for all my pots and pans cooking.

Good quality
We bought this for traveling but have used it at home. It heats up really quickly but just uses a 120V receptacle. It cools down reasonably soon. We will be carrying it in checked bags along with a small pan but it gives us good options for better food when away. The heat regulation is not as variable as I would like, or as good as our fancy Bosch induction range but it did work well and cooked quickly. I do wish they could condense the form factor (overall size) down just a bit more, but it isn't too big to carry and isn't heavy.

works perfect
I bought a nuwave 5 years ago, this one is the stove I wanted the first time!

Wish I had bought one sooner.
The heat controlled by the timer is why I purchased this unit as a personal safety measure. I now do all of my cooking and food prep with time controlled heat built in to the device (e.g. air fryer combo and microwave.) I can only say I wish I had done this a long time ago. I purchased a 6โ plate which perfectly accommodates both my 8โ and 10โ cast iron pans.

Disappointing at higher tremperatures, or even boiling 3 qts of water.
I bought it for the "faster" speed and ability to maintain higher temperatures but was disapponted on both fronts. Deep frying: First, it took over 30 minutes to get 3 quarts of oil to 325 degrees in 9-1/2", 5 qt enameled cast iron pot. Then the temperature dropped by over 40 degrees with less than a medium potato volume of fries. Boiling Water: The next day I tested it in a 9-1/2" Greenpan Induction base pot (5 qt) and it took 30 minutes to boil 3 qts of water. Using the same pot and amount of water (both times starting at 77 degrees), a 5" natural gas stove burner at Medium High brought the water to boil in 21 minutes - significantly faster than the induction cooktop. The wattage was at high (1400W) on the induction unit, but maybe the 6" coil was too small to get the job done, even thoough the pot sizes were well within the recommended range. I may try a cooktop with an 8" coil, but this one didn't cut it.
