Q: can i mount this in the ceiling upside down

It was a question I needed to know the answer to because looking at the booklet it does not say but when you go into the menu when operating the projector there are four settings. 1. ceiling front 2. ceiling rear. 3. front desk and 4 rear desk. So the simple answer is yes.

Q: Can you play movies using your iPhone?

With the right adapter, I would say yes, Carabella! If you google “apple lightning to hdmi adapter”, you will find a number of different suppliers and prices. Apple’s own costs around £49, but cheaper non-OEM alternatives can be had for <= £10-13. They should all let you mirror whatever is on your mobile’s screen. Got this projector for family viewing. Resolution is excellent and picture quality is bright. Came in a safe box and looks posh with that colour scheme. Nothing stops me to not recommend this projector.

My wife bought this from Amazon for showing films on a large screen. We’re delighted with it so far. Very good value for the money and seems to be very versatile re source. Internal sound I find to be poor so needed external speakers to enjoy films properly. Otherwise very pleased.
