CD Still Missing Instrumental "One"
First, it goes without saying that Apocalyptica always delivers, especially when covering Metallica. As all Apocalyptica fans, I too was excited when "Plays Metallica Vol. 2" was announced and then released. Furthermore, I do not purchase physical music unless it is one of my favorite artists, think Apocalyptica.I was looking forward to this CD, but then read the reviews which stated that the CD is missing track-10, the instrumental version of "One", which is more preferable to track-9, the spoken-word version of "One".The reviews persuaded me to wait until the CD was corrected. Unfortunately, I believed it was corrected by the end of August 2024 and purchased. My CD only has 9 tracks. The instrumental version of "one", listed on the back of the CD as being track-10 is not on the CD still. My personal recommendation for those who also want the entire album on CD would be to wait a little longer before purchasing, until we know the issue is resolved and the CD does contain the full 10 songs. In the interim, the entire album is still available digitally and can be listened to, which is my solution at the moment. Again the entire album is terrific. No song disappoints.

Awesome album
I've always like this band and Metallica is one of my favorite bands, so it is a win win for me. Music is great and pressing is good. They do a good job on giving a fresh take on classic songs while staying true to the source music.

Missing Track 10 BEWARE!!!
The CD itself is OK. Vol 1 was better because it was just the 4 cellos. Vol 2 has Metallica as background instrumentals, its cool but I wanted the CD to hear the cellos not Metallica like Vol 1.Just like many other reviews I read, track 10 is missing which is One (instrumental.) I attempted to contact BMG music and all I got was a message saying if this is a music solicitation, the email will be deleted.I also took advice from an earlier review about contacting Apocalyptica to no response.

Apocalyptica expanding on their roots. The music thats there is great, but the record label forgot to but the instrumental version of One.... returned cd and will buy again when they hopefully get that fixed.

Track 10 - One (Instrumental) is Missing
UPDATED REVIEW:I made a comment on Apocalyptica's Instagram account about this error, and they contacted me and made things right within about 24 hours. They provided a link to download a high quality version for Track 10 that they admitted was left off of the album in error. I really appreciated that they did this, though I'm sad that this issue resides not for just a handful of copies, but apparently their whole printed CD run. If you do decide to get the CD copy of this album, make sure to contact Apocalyptica's social pages to get the missing track.I'm updating my starred review from 1 to 4 stars, as Track 10 is A-grade music.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I didn't see the promised instrumental version of this talented group's newest rendition of One on Spotify, so I went ahead and bought the physical album, as I saw Amazon had track 10 advertised on the product's page. I got the album today, loaded it in my player, and lo and behold, track 1 of 9 starts playing.I've never seen a band release an album with an advertised track literally missing on the disc. If this is a new practice within the industry, then it's no wonder physical media is dying out, but this was a new level of false advertisement that I've experienced. Very much disappointed in this, as this was the track I wanted to hear more than any others (as I wasn't too captivated by the Lou Reed-esque spoken word reciting of One's lyrics by Hetfield on track 9).In truth, the 9-track album is a solid 4/5. Really love what they did with St. Anger among others. The band still has it after all these years, even if a couple of songs feel too overproduced. But I can't abide the false advertising regarding Track 10. If this is truly a goof, then I can't imagine what a rushed production this album actually was.(Picture included to show Track 10's listing as proof.)

Missing last song
Missing instrumental version of one. I am returning it ,don’t want another copy. If a big label like BMG can’t figure it out.
