Large and sturdy but also light
These are perfect for making a cloud ceiling. I'm only halfway through and will post pictures and updates when I'm completely done but I wanted to say that these are a lot more sturdy and I thought they would be while also being incredibly light. Guess we'll make an incredible addition to our game room as we're going to have one of those LED Cloud lightning ceilings but you're seeing everything to these tiles instead of ruining the ceiling. All in all a great buy for whatever project you're looking for in my opinion.

Loving these in the black!
These panels are super lightweight and very simple to install. They worked perfectly for the space I needed, a cabin setting, with lots of polished wood and black accents. With just a little extra trim to make them fit in, it gave the ceiling a much more high-end feel than what I'd had previously. I was very pleased with how easy they were to work with, and how nice they looked when I was done. I would definitely recommend these over a standard white ceiling tile, and I would purchase them again for other spaces.

12 Pack Drop Ceiling 2ft x 2ft PVC Ceiling Panel Cover 5mm Waterproof
These are nice thick expanded PVC ceiling tiles, the black color makes them really unique when it comes to drop ceilings and will really change up the look of a room... They cut very clean and are nearly indestructible, and you can clean them... Overall I can see these being appealing in many applications where traditional ceiling tiles come up short, especially the ability to clean them...On a side note, they are also a good source of expanded PVC to use for building costumes or props...

Solid and well made
No weird chips or scratches, all uniform and VERY sturdy. They have a fair bit of weight to them so keep that in mind, not at all like the weird pockmarked 'foamy' ceiling tile you might be used to. I figure it'll last for a long time.

Not What I Anticipated
When I ordered these ceiling tiles I did extensive research first on exactly what I would be purchasing. The reviews were great and I wanted to make sure the tiles were right for the remodel Im doing. The tiles are made well and a quality item. The issue I'm having is the tile is to heavy. I was lead to believe the tiles were lightweight and easy to work with. The tiles do have some weight to them. They're better served in more of an industrial space than in a smaller bathroom ceiling. I really wanted them to work but that's not happening. They simply weigh to much. Great product just not well suited for smaller jobs.

Heavy tiles
If you have a problem with ceiling tiles popping out of place because they're too light these are probably fix that. They have some decent way to them. They're mostly rigid. There's no design or pattern on them, they're completely flat. They're only about a fifth of an inch thick so you would even be able to put the regular tile behind this if you want it extra insulation

Very standard PVC drop-ceiling tiles
I've used similar drop-ceiling tiles from a lot of different brands, and they're usually very similar -- these are no exceptions, they very much meet (but don't exceed) expectations.Compared to old-school mineral-fiber and fiberglass drop-ceiling panels (or higher-end acoustic panels) this style of PVC panel is much thinner, which comes with some positives and negatives (but mostly positives):On the upside: They don't create a ton gross dust the way mineral fiber panels do (especially in terms of how old-school mineral tiles can can get messy when you're cutting them to size; or end up breaking down over time; and how other dust and moisture in your house can gather in the fissures in the material, etc.); they're very easy to cut to size; they're lighter weight and more flexible, so they're easier to install; and they're water-resistant/water-proof so they don't absorb spills and they can easily be wiped clean...The only downsides: They don't provide as much soundproofing on their own (you may need to add additional sound proofing above these in your ceiling) and because they're thin and flexible they can be more prone to drooping (and less capable of holding up other objects, like lights) so you'll need to make sure they have a good support structure.I've also found that a 5mm thickness is not only pretty standard for this style of panel -- but also really the minimum thickness that's generally reliable. I've had some 4mm panels that were okay, but borderline -- but I've also had some 3mm panels that were pretty floppy (more likely to droop/bend in the middle) and tended to break/snapped into pieces too easily... Whereas the 5mm size seems to hold-up pretty well as long as you're relatively careful with them (I'd definitely be interested in trying out some thicker PVC or more robust acoustic panels if I could find them without adding too much additional cost the the equation, but prices can escalate quickly when you're replacing a lot of drop-ceiling tiles... Anyway, I'll definitely never go back to mineral fiber tiles again, as the old ones have proven to be a mess to uninstall, crumbling and spewing out dust. These PVC style tiles are much easier to work with).
