For $20 I’m pleasantly surprised with the quality and sharpness. Don’t do the finger test, you’ll need to buy some bandaids next.

This knife is well made! Good sharp blade that is durable. The sheath is well made and has some nice features. The orange makes it nice to find if you happen to drop it somewhere accidentally. I would buy again, it is a great price for a good quality knife. Look on Youtube for more reviews about the quality, some of the knife reviews are BRUTAL and the knife keeps working! No one would use a knife to do what the reviewers do to them.

Pretty much what everybody else said. It is a good basic knife for the price. For the tough gashing and smashing I might do while trying to get setup in a camp in the woods, it is just fine. Actually, I prefer a knife of this caliber because I don't feel too bad if I damage it. The sheath is useless.

This is an update from previous review. Surprisingly this blade Is very functionable and very tough. For the price that it is available I would recommend highly. I have purchased many many blades and around 80% needing sharpening when received. This blade was received with NO sharpening needed. I have used for household tasks needing a sharp blade and this one is the answer, or I would be perfectly comfortable doing a Presidential traverse of the northern and southern mountains of New Hampshire. If you purchase this one you HAVE to get the matching folder of this steel. Another absolutely great piece of steel for short money.

I bought this for my grandson for his birthday. I had bought one a few years ago for an older grandson. It brought a smile to this one's face. He thinks he is hot stuff now. lol. It is a good quality knife .

I've not really used this yet, but it has a great feel to it. The weight is nice, the knife feels good in the hand, and it seems to be good quality. I'm happy with the purchase at this price.

I bought this knife at a clearance sale price, otherwise I do not recommend it. GERBER is now making the same knife in different colors as their Survival knife for about twice the price.For survival, I think the MORA Garberg or COLD STEEL SRK are a much better buy and of higher quality. For simple outdoor, utility or bushcraft, I would go with a MORA Companion in stainless steel.I bought it for my collection at a really low price, so no complaints.
