This replacement charger functions just like the original. However, be aware that different laptops require different sized connectors (the plug that connects the charger to the laptop. So make sure you order the charger with the proper sized connector for you laptop. I had to return my original order and request one with the proper plug size. They were great about it and I had a new charger in a couple of days.

The replacement charger works great. Just like having the original HP cord. I'm relieved because the last replacement cord was thin, overheating when in use, and eventually tore up. The plug in was made of some cheap aluminum material that bends. Not solid or secure as metal plug in.

I purchased this power supply adapter for my HP laptop because I damage the original cord. This cord seems to be holding up pretty well & I was very happy that the company sent me an extra cord for another backup.

It works. One part does not stay together, but the plug is a good replacement plug.
