It works great. My son chose it for me. He is great with electronics and the one that came with my phone had quit working and needed replaced.

I bought this for my SCH-U640 Convoy phone to charge it and sync with my computer. But despite the title, this does not work as a data cable for the Convoy. So I will have to stick with the original for syncing and leave this for charging only. Too bad the title is misleading, but the price was right.Update: After playing with the phone and the original cable I found that the phone was in some state of lock. I rebooted the phone and this cable was able to pass data. So the price that was good for a charging cable is great for a cable that can do data as well.

OK - I am posting a review for this data cable because I wanted other fellow Rogue users to know this will work just as well as the original cable that came with the phone. I use mine all the time and was tired of bringing with me back and forth to work, that's if I remembered to bring it. Many times I'd get to work and look for my cable and alas, left it at home. So I ordered an extra to have one at home and work - problem solved. Love it! Charges the phone while plugged in and data transfer is equal to the original. Price is also perfect. Enjoy

This cable doesn't work. If I plug it into a wall charger or a computer, the phone will indicate that it is charging, but when I unplug it, the battery will be drained instead of charged. I am using a SCH-U450, which is listed on the product page as compatible with this charger. The plug fits into the phone, but no charging actually occurs, so I think that a similar product would work for my phone. It would be helpfully if Samsung honestly reported which devices actually work with this charger.

I would like to add my experience to this.I have four Samsung Intensity phones (SCHu450) from Verizon. One for each member of my family.I ordered two of these cables from Amazon partner "ACC Stop" in Septemmber. Both of the cables I received from this partner >>did<< indeed work for both data and charging.Two months later I ordered three of these cables from Seller1ON1 and all three of the cables I received from Seller1ON1 would not charge the phone. I tried with each of our four Intensity phones, with multiple chargers and USB ports and I even tried multiple batteries. The cables from Seller1ON1 would only work for data transfer.UPDATE 4/24/12: ACC Stop was no longer listed as an option. I ordered two additional cables, one from partner "Importer520" another from partner "AccesoryOne". Both of these cables are charging the phones. Importer520 had the lower price and got the item shipped out more quickly.Five stars for the cables from ACC Stop, Importer520 and AccesoryOneTwo stars for the cables from Seller1ON1.

I own a Samsung Solstice SGH-A887 cell phone and was in need of being able to download my photos and videos to my laptop. The cable itself is very easy to use.....just plug it into the phone, plug the other end into a USB port, and it automatically activates the "Samsung New PC Studio" software. However, downloading this software from Samsung is quite a nightmare to say the least....but that's another story. One I gained access to the program, the on-screen instructions were very simple to follow, and in the matter of seconds my photos and videos were downloaded onto my laptop.

Very short chord but gets the job done for charging my phone. I use an extension chord if I need to be somewhere distant from the outlet.
