This is a very sturdy, well made and easy to assemble bed. I will say it was easier with two people but one person could do it with a little propping. My husband loved that a rachet tool was included because he said it made things that much easier.This is a great looking, nice quality bed and worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Assembly instructions need a bit more detail and assembly took about an hour and a half. Finished frame is sturdy and attractive.

For $139 the quality is ok but could be better. No extra screws or nuts. One screw was bad, I had to go to hardware store and purchase a extra screw. The instructions are not easy to follow.

Originally i wasnt going to write a review, but there are so few detailed reviews for the Sustainable Bamboo varitation, i decided to share my thoughts.I recently moved into my first apartment and bought this bed frame for it's price, material, and the high reviews it showed. I can confirm that it is well worth the price and it is relatively easy to assemble with no extra tools. BUT, not worthy of a 5-star review in my eyes due to small imperfections.Let it be known that I am a student with experience putting furniture together. I also can not speak on the longevity of this product.Pros:- The packaging does a good job protecting the wood and keeping it steady. It is an awkward box to hold so I recommend two people carry it.- This took no more than 40 minutes to complete from opening the box to placing down the slats- The frame has not budged or made a single noise even with my mattress and myself on top.- Every piece was properly labeled by step and functioned as intended without issue.- Very light frame and not difficult to move. Once the metal rods in the center were attached I could move it myself with ease.- Decent storage space but nothing special.Cons:- Some screws do not go all the way. I'm not sure if it's because of the holes in the wood being inadequately drilled or if it stripped against the metal locks. It has not affected the stability of the frame. (Picture provided)- Instructions slightly confusing, the manual has letter lables for every piece, however the pieces themselves do not. My advice is to follow the numbers as they match the step you should be on.That being said, I highly recommend this bed frame. Do your research before you decide which fits for you.

Not too hard for mechanically inept person like me to put together, and also really solid when set up. No creaking or anything. Paired it with their green tea mattress. Really such an improvement on my old bed for a pretty decent price.

Pieces were labeled with numbers and directions were labeled using letters. If the long screws and bolts weren’t perfectly aligned I could tighten so far then screw would spin and couldn’t be removed leaving the frame loose. You cannot tell which direction to orient pieces using the pictures. After loosely assembled, the full size mattress was 2-3 inches past the full size frame on all sides.

I needed an inexpensive bed. And this seemed to be what I need for the space, I have a window that is low and the bed is placed in front of it. Its delivered in a single box, which is very heavy. Inside everything is just pieces. But the bolts,nuts screws and tools (2) are well packed. Directions are pretty simple. On mine the directions showed a number 6 on pieces but the stickers on the pieces said 9. But I will give a lot of credit for the design of the pieces as they went together very easily with patience. As there is a lot of things to fit. I have in the past built many IKEA things, and this seemed better thought out in assembly. My only dislike is not having plugs to cover the hardware used to attach everything. I would not be afraid to recommend to a friend looking for a similiar type of bed frame.
