Nordic Ware Prep and Serve Mixing Bowls Set, 8-Piece, Glacier White

I had a set of 4 bowls exactly like these for years and lost 2 of them. I have been searching for a replacement for so long now, tried other bowls but just didn’t work as well, not the same size or shape as these. I was beyond excited when I saw these online! I received them today and they are perfect, exactly the same ones I had. I would have preferred to get all the same color bowls, but the colors are really nice soft colors. The size and shape of these are perfect and what I love about them. I use them for food prep, heating in the microwave, serving dips, salsa and foods for snacking. They stack inside each other so they don’t take up much room in my cabinet. They hold up well after using in the microwave and dishwasher. These don’t come with lids, but I have never used them for storage just meal prep and snacking.

I love this set of bowls. The lids are easy to put on, take off and seal great by just pushing down in the middle. The colors are very neutral and on trend. I’m happy I got the set with the extra large gray bowl; it comes in handy for many uses.

Well made, its made in the USA, so this item will last forever, color great, perfect size for serving like ice cream or any dressings, easy to clean, easy to use..

These are great little bowls that can be used for various things. I use them for cooking prep, to display toppings on taco nights, and for dips on movie nights. I bought an additional set for my daughter to use to mix paints and she uses a couple to hold small items in her room like rings and beads. I do not recommend putting these in the microwave. They do not hold up well with high heat, which I learned the hard way. The colors are neutral with the exception of the pretty blue one. They did not come with lids, but if you are using them for prep lids aren’t necessary. An example of the capacity is they hold about a cup of diced tomatoes or shredded cheese. These are great, functional bowls that are versatile and can be used for various purposes.

Great sturdy bowls at a great price

Nearly returned these b/c I thought the bowls were too shallow. Luckily I didn't! I love these now that I got a chance to use them. They are lightweight & large. My Cuisinart bowls were narrower but deeper. I was afraid these others would make a mess with mixing. I needed bowls that would go into the microwave. My old ones couldn't and they had some cracks. I discovered I like the Nordic ones much better! The wider shallower bowls make mixing easier and they have non skid bottoms. I like them so much, I may be ready to part with the cracked ones!

I needed a lightweight, 7 qt mixing bowl and love my Nordic Ware products. $60 for the set seemed steep but I saw they came with lids and it's Nordic Ware. (I'm seeing they're cheaper now -- yeah, I bet they are.) Just got back from a tailgate this weekend where I'd taken the 2 largest bowls, using the lids. The design looks good. As opposed to wrapping over the edge of the bowl (those crack in almost no time) these seal by fitting into the inside. Great idea ... in theory. They feel like they are sealed but absolutely are not. They just do not stay put - so forget any kind of 'seal'. Even being aware and therefore extremely careful, we couldn't move them without the lids coming off. Just a HUGE mess! Shame on you Nordic Ware.

I absolutely love the look of these. The colors are gorgeous. They are very sturdy feeling. My only issue is that I struggle at times to get the lids on properly. But they are so adorable on my open shelves they still get 5 stars.

These are beautiful bowls, and seem like they will be durable. Wish they had a pour spout. They're about $10-$15 more than they're worth, but eh... I needed bowls and they mostly fit the bill.

I love baking, and prep bowls are essential when attempting recipes with more than a few ingredients. After watching many, many videos and envying how organized the chefs seemed to be, and how clearly they could see all the ingredients in front of them, I had to buy a set of prep bowls. This set comes in lovely neutral colours. They also serve as snack dishes, especially if you are trying to limit the amount of sugar/fat/salt you eat, because they are not large bowls -- only 4 in. across. Nordic Ware also produces matching mixing bowls in larger sizes. I highly recommend these prep dishes and I recommend the Nordic Ware brand for their consistently excellent products.

These mixing bowls are light weight, but the rubber ring underneath keeps them from moving around on your surface. Nice colours, too!
