Portable Fan, Rechargeable Camping Fan with Solar Panel, 3 Speeds

I recently tried the INNOPOWER portable solar fan, and it has quickly become one of my favorite summer gadgets. The built-in solar panel and USB-C charging make it very convenient because I can charge it almost anywhere. I especially appreciate the powerful 20,000 mAh battery, which lasts for many hours after a full charge. The fan has three speed settings, and even on the highest speed it stays very quiet. The whisper-quiet motor makes it great for sleeping, studying, or working without any disturbance.Another feature I really like is the dual-brightness LED lantern, which is very useful during power outages or when camping outdoors. The fan also has a timer option (2, 4, or 8 hours), which helps save battery and makes it easy to set before going to sleep. I found the aromatherapy slot to be a unique touch because it allows you to add essential oils for a fresher breeze. The foldable design and hanging hook make it very versatile—you can place it on a table or hang it inside a tent or small room.It also works as a power bank, so I can charge my phone if needed. Works awesome! We got this for camping and I’m using it at home sitting on my deck writing this review on a 80 degree day, and I’m chillin! I love that it charges using solar energy - keeping me cooler longer on sunny days! This fan/battery/light is Great for camping, chilling outside on a hot summer day, and I will definitely be bringing this to my sons football practices and games… I’ll be the coolest dad there 😊

Final update after trying FOUR fans. The solar panels are worthless. They do not charge the fan at all. The only way to charge the fan is to plug it in. Basically you get a cordless fan that needs to be recharged every 6 hours if you use the fan on high. I had the same issue with all 4 fans. Don't waste your money if your looking for a "SOLAR" fan. Placed Two fans in the full sun all day without them running. The 4 lights 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% charge indicator showed 25% blinking. After leaving them in the full sun for 9 hours the fan was still blinking 25% and would only run for 30 seconds then shut off. Purchased these fans for a outdoor area where they could be moved in full sun to stay charged. Unable to recommend based on my experience with 4 fans. Defective solar panel. The instruction pamphlet that comes with product reads: #2 Please recharge when the fan stop or led light doesn't work. #7 reads: Please use the charging cable that comes with the product to charge. NOWHERE does it mention the solar panel. MY QUESTION TO THE COMPANY. What is the point of the solar panel?

It's July and I had an eleven day cross-country trip on the Can-Am Spyder and pulling a Kompact Kamp Mini Mate camper. Of course, it would be hot. And I would be camping in my Mini Mate camper; at just under two pounds, this fan would fit the bill. I decided a quiet fan that would move around the air would be an appropriate accessory. I spent quite some time reviewing various fans, before I came across the Innopower fan.The fan comes in different colors and with a 20,000 mAh battery. It is also accessorized with a solar panel that can charge the battery. I have not tested this component. However, on my trip, I did test the ability to simultaneously both use and charge the battery; this worked flawlessly.The fan can be used at three speeds by pressing the same button to access each speed. I found the lowest to be quite comfortable and, obviously the quietest. My noise level test at two feet from the fan indicated that the lowest fan level produced a sound level of 44.5 dB, medium 50.3 dB, and highest 55.3 db. The fan also includes a timer for two, four, and eight hours. I did use the two hour timer. I never let the fan run throughout the night as I cooled off.Another function are two vertical LED lights that are very bright. I did not use the highest level, other than testing it, as it was too bright for the confines of the camper.Also included are type-A and type-C USB ports that are used to charge the internal battery. A secondary function is to charge (5 volts/2 amps) another piece of equipment, such as a phone. The battery charge level is also indicated by four lights.Finally, the fan has a hook that can be used to hang the fan. I did not use the hook as it would not work with the existing structure of the camper. However, I used the handle to hang the fan in the camper.The Innopower fan punches above it cost and deserves a five star rating.

This little fan has power!! I am pleasantly surprised with it. The battery lasted a full 8 hours on low last night. Impressive. The lights are a nice touch and definitely come in handy. The only reason why I did not give the 5 stars is because, in my opinion, the solar panels do not charge as they should. Thankfully the USB charger works great and since the battery lasts.....I haven't had an issue.It's handy, compact, lightweight and reliable. Well worth the money!

When I received it I charge for completely charging ( about 6 hours) and begin testing it. I use this fan in the lower speed that is perfect for me. I have being using it for 14 hours and it continues in the light of the maximum charge. It is great, so if we have a hurricane in Miami whit blackouts I have solved my problem to sleep. I recommend it surely and the price is unbelievable. A five stars quality.

My home lost power randomly on Sunday night. I hadn't charged the fan in months, because it wasn't being used. The fan lasted over 10 hours - with only the fan being used, not the light. I was able to keep my dog cool until electricity was restored. The airflow was good enough to keep him comfortable until the AC was back. It left me with a good peace of mind, that I ended up ordering three more for the entire family. I haven't tried the solar panel charging aspect, so I cannot speak on that. It's worth the money!

Fan and light capabilities are fantastic! To charge other devices... mmmm not so much. The solar powered function I still need more testing because I took it camping and our site was mostly shaded. But after 2 days in the woods and I wanted to use it to charge my phone, no such luck 😕 The fact you can hang/attach it to various things like roofs, etc is super cool and great for a portable light. We lost power once and this thing came in handy as both a light and a fan, but again don't expect it to charge your phone because it definitely won't 😉
