This makes playing music in my car seamless. I already had a wireless charger/car mount but I still had to plug in my phone to play music (not a big problem, but a minor inconvenience to do this each time I get in the car). Now I have wireless carplay. It's so nice to just get in the car and my phone connects automatically. I stopped my video short because I realized it didn't want to connect while I was recording a video with the phone. I attached photos of what shows up once it is connected. It's exactly the same as it was when my phone was plugged directly in. I love it! Phone calls, audio, it all works well. I had looked into these for a while and some other brands were over $100. This was a great deal and works great.

I bought two of these, one for a 19 Volvo XC60 and one for a 17 Honda Ridgeline. Set up was extremely easy and it connects to the phone within seconds of the car starting. A screen prompt asks if I want to use it or not, otherwise it stays on my regular Bluetooth connection. My Volvo GPS is not great so I love being able to use the app of my choice integrated with my screen. The Volvo sits in my console compartment where the CarPlay USB port is. The Honda outlet is in the front of the console, and the device came with double sided tape to tuck it out of the way. I recommend this adapter!

Keeps disconnecting, never works properly.

I was skeptical about buying any wireless CarPlay dongle because it seems everyone says they don’t work or quit after a while. But I took a chance on this unit. I connected mine to an Alpine head unit with the simple setup. Setup was easy. It worked great with my iPhone 15. It has connected every time. Once that worked… I moved the unit to my F150 with factory CarPlay. I went through a couple of CarPlay prompts and connected with no issues. I’ve been using it in my F150 with no problems. I guess I’ll have to buy another one for my original vehicle.

Don’t love it. Don’t hate it. So it connects my device to my car and gives me wireless CarPlay. That’s what it was designed for, works well. It’s a bully. And by that I mean, it will strip a call from my phone if I’m within 33ft. And I mean, inside my house walking by a window. I have had to go unplug it before. Went to my settings on my phone and disconnected, only for it to reconnect 30 seconds later. Fantastic if you want the connection, and it works flawlessly, but when you don’t, you consider making it flat at 60mph.

I wholeheartedly endorse this product! The most challenging aspect of setting it up was removing the protective plastic from the box. I have been using it for two days now, and the reconnection process is smooth. During the Bluetooth pairing, while the code appeared on my phone, it did not display on my car's screen. Nevertheless, I recognized the Mavlou logo, prompting me to tap "Allow" to finalize the pairing process. I am impressed by how user-friendly it is, as well as the added benefit of preventing my phone from overheating due to unnecessary charging for CarPlay. Additionally, it is a cost-effective upgrade.

Works great. Only complaint (and why I did not give it 5 stars) is on very few occasions when I leave the car but do not turn the car off, it has issues re-connecting until I unplug the adapter (Has happened maybe 3 times since owning them. I have 2 in 2 different vehicles).

Works flawlessly right out of the package! I was skeptical at first with so many choices on amazon but I’m glad I went with this adapter! And there was a coupon, how could I go wrong. It automatically connects every time I start my car and keeps a reliable connection. I have a aftermarket Alpine head unit! This CarPlay adapter makes my drives more enjoyable and safer and there’s no cords to get tangled up. I just plugged it in and tucked it away! I highly recommend this CarPlay adapter!

Kleine, handliche Box. Ist schnell und einfach einzurichten. Stellt die Verbindung super schnell her und kann mit verschiedenen Handys gut umgehen. Habe eine im Van und eine im Kleinen um das Carplay aufzuwerten. Leider keine Ladebuchse am Adapter.

Schnelle und Komplikationslose Installation im Auto und funktioniert sofort. Beim zünden des Autos wird Handy sofort erkannt und es erscheint auf dem Display des Autos. Einfache Menüführung, Sprachsteuerung funktioniert super und Handymenü funktioniert einwandfrei.
