Tomtom replacement

does not stick to the windscreen, waste of time
Just did not stick to the windscreen. Screen had been cleaned, the twist knob just does not pull the suction cup enough. The unit just drops off the windscreen even with nothing attached within minutes. Seller sent a replacement, which was just as bad.

SATNAV can fall out of the mount if roads too bumpy.
This mount holder has good suction power, however, the vibration of the car sometimes causes the SATNAV to fall out of the mount. Otherwise, for the price, a good buy.

Cheaper alternative to the original
I bought this tomtom satnav mount after I lost my original one.PROs- It works and it does the job (most of the time).CONs- The suction seal is not as good as the original so sometimes it falls off the windscreen.....which can be annoying when you're driving. The twisting round component is loose and little flimsy so doesn't always create an effective tight seal.- Not made to as higher quality as the original. You can tell it's a cheaper alternative just by the look and feel of it.CONCLUSIONIt works 80% of time and it wasn't expensive at all so I'mhappy with it

Make Life Simple
This Mount secures the Tom Tom to the windscreen far better than the Tom Tom Mount. I had some difficulty getting the suction Mount to secure to the Windscreen. The trick is to breath hard on the rubber press very hard on the Mount while turning the locking ring.Then simply press the tom tom into the spring retaining clip it then snaps into place to secure the Sat Nav, where the Tom Tom mount will require 5mins struggle to get it to hold in place.

It's not worth buying this item
The windscreen holder was useless it would not hold the satnav as it was too lose and kept falling off the windscreen. Must be the worst buy I have ever made

Disappointing
The quality is barely adequate as the retaining ring is a very loose fit on my Tomtom XLSatNav allowing it to swivel in the mount rather than lock in tightly and securely like the original, so not such good value for money after all. In hindsight I should have spent the extra cash required for an OEM replacement Tomtom Wind Screen Mount Holder. Oh well, just about works... just.
