Update: I had to bump up my rating because their lifetime warranty is excellent. My power button came off this time, over a year of use, but they shipped me a brand new case immediately. I still wish the case would sync with Android P, it seems to be something with OS.I've been using this case for almost a year and it's not bad for the price. It does not add much more bulk to the Pixel XL. I think it doubled the thickness and added a few mm to the height. It's a good tradeoff for the extra power. The warranty is lifetime if you follow them on a social media platform.However, I have some issues with the power button. It very easy to trigger accidentally while in my pockets. I always have to check to make sure the battery is charging.Also, the case is more flimsy compared to their Pixel non-XL model. The Pixel model slides into the case and locks in with a top piece. The Pixel XL mode has a flimsy snap on front to slide the phone in, then snap the front on. The XL's front piece pops out easily if the phone gets dropped a little vs. the Pixel case being more sturdy and staying on even when dropped. My power button came off. The construction is poorer than the Pixel model.I also notice that after updating to the latest Android P, the USB sync stops working. I'm not sure if this is the OS's issue or the USB implementation of the case.However, I was able to contact them and they sent me a new case for free. They just needed me to show a screenshot of me following them on a social media platform. So, the lifetime warranty is great.I still recommend this case because of it's value for power storage and looks compared to the alternative battery cases. I would update it to 4 stars if the USB sync issue is fixed. It also lost a star because of flimsy the front panel and the power button falling off, I really prefer their Pixel case design of sliding the phone into the case. But they sent me a new one to replace it for free.

While the case did provide excellent battery life, it was quite large of course. If you wearing slimmer jeans it's a bit hard to get the phone into your pockets. Also, the interface only slow charges. And that's both, slow charging to the phone, and slow charging to the case battery. I'd find myself removing the case and using the quick charger at home before leaving, and just charging the case over-night. It would give a good amount of battery and I'd manage to get basically a full extra charge or charge and a half it seemed if I used the case charger at the right times (phone battery between 30-60%). But honestly, for the size and price, it's probably just as easier to get a battery pack that can charge it quicker. If you absolutely want to carry as little as possible, and don't want to be bothered with a battery bank, then get this instead.

I bought this hoping to extend the life of my Pixel XL till October when then new version comes out. After about a month, the USB-C charging port has now almost completely failed. I have to push the connector in to the point of straining my hand to get it to connect and then most of the time, it slips out. Last night I had it on the charger for over 7 hours and the phone came away only 85% charged and the batter pack not fully charged because the connector had slipped out sometime during the night. The only reason I gave it 2 starts is it does charge the phone reliably but the fact that the port is now near useless, makes this product very not worth the 70 bucks.

Very nice case for protection and battery strength. It doesn't automatically charge it when it gets low, rather, you hold a button for a couple seconds to charge, and again to stop charging. It fits very nicely, although if you have long nails, the fingerprint censor won't be accessible, so I have to keep it cut down to keep that functionality. Other than that flaw (which may be a deal-breaker for some), it has worked out great, and I got exactly what I wanted.

***After using it for about a month, I notice the external battery life lasting only about an hour. I'm still required to bring my charger wherever I go. In addition, when charging with the case on, it will not charge rapidly. Often meaning if I do charge it, I either take the case off to charge both phone and case separately, or expect about an 5-6 hour charge time.

Battery holds charge great and can completely recharge my phone from dead. Only downfall is tmit is a little bulky for people who keep phone in front pocket of pants.

Well to start out with it took a long time to ship. Once I received this product it did not work. I'm returning the product and I'm hoping that the exchange is quick and that the new product actually works… I will post an update... Actual review pending exchange...
