I purchased this petty knife to add to my collection (it's the third one from left). I have the entire Kramer line as welll as several 500 birchwoods.. I love all my knives, but after several months... it's almost always the 5.5 prep knife I go to.... it's just the easiest, the quickest, to grab and use. It's the Goldilocks of knives for quick work where you not doing a lot of chopping. It feels wonderful in the hand (I have large hands). and the geometry just feels like an extension of my hand.Razor sharp that holds an edge.. beautiful to look at. If I could only have two knives it would be this and an 8"..

切れ味や使い勝手は申し分ないのですが、非常に鋼材が硬く、毎回研ぐのに時間がかかります。他の方もコメントしておりましたが、高価な部類の包丁ですので、ボブクレーマーというブランドに拘りがないのであれば、日本製の手入れのし易い包丁をお勧めします。最後に簡易研ぎ器で刃が欠けたといったレビューを拝見しましたが、それは全くの論外です。ちゃんと砥石で研ぎましょう。
