Clear - Responsive and Customizable - Amazing Value - HUGE BATTERY DRAIN
I will compare this to other monitors I've used in the past, and for the price this is top notch. The panel itself is super responsive, and the UI is clear and simple - It has a "Sets" feature which acts like a Multi-Desktop you find on windows.Swiping left/right will switch "sets" where you can establish a bunch of tools that you plan to use. E.g.Set 1 could be for Exposure and Graphs - So you default False colour and Waveforms on.Set 2 could be for Focus and LUTS - to ensure the image is sharp and will work well with LUTS laterSet 3 could be Aspect Ratio preview and frame guides to ensure the image is setup how you need to ready for recording. The process is super intuitive and far improved to even the big budget experiences, just with this feature alone. You can calibrate the False Color manually - choosing your own values (Admittedly they are in a generic percentage its unclear if this is IRE or Waveform 0-100) so you will need to make some educated guesses based on other meters.Battery life - is amazing , small NPF 550 last about an Hour - Chunky 8800s last half a day if not more (Haven't fully tested it)The ability to accurately setup the camera color space/gamma/gamut etc is also a really powerful feature if you want to ensure accuracy - it also comes with AUTO settings for those unsure of the tech specs.Swipe controls at all times for Brightness and Volume are a blessing - Left side Swipe up/down is brightness Right side is Volume - same for pinch to zoom - which also retains active settings e.g. peaking/focusProbing can also be setup to read before or after the LUT which is not something i've seen on other monitors, and its something i find invaluable - that way im also comparing the RAW signal and balancing for that - regardless of which LUT im testing at the time.Battery Out is also a blessingCONS:Does not come with any cables - no DC power, no Battery Tap, no adapters - just the monitor and the armSD Card reader is a bit of a pain - had a lot of trouble reading any SD Card at all especially over 16gb, - had to format one and it still didn't work but it turns out - it may work better when you put the SD Card in and reboot the device.Big Batteries will block the articulating arm - you can get around it by articulating the long way round (usually over the top) but its a minor inconvenienceNOTE:Huge battery drain on this device when left plugged in even when off - can and will sap a battery to 0 and potentially destroy a good battery by heavy discharging

Impressed
So far so good. Only had a few outings but seems like it does the job well enough. Drains battery fast so make sure you're stacked up.
