Mapesil AC Cement Grey Silicone Sealant (1 Cartridge 310 ml Cement Grey)

This is a genuine Mapei sealant in the advertised colour.Mapei makes great products with lots of colour choices. You can colour-match the sealant to your flooring, tiles, grout, etc, by using their catalogues. If you can get a printed version, that's the easiest to use. They also have a nice app, but the colour may look a bit different on the phone screen.

Used it to finish my wall after using the same grout for the tiles.

I bought this to finish off the bathroom I'd tiled out myself, (Impressive or what?).The tiles were the larger sized and coloured a medium shade of grey so picking a grout and the finishing sealant was always going to be a little tricky. But, after a long time searching I found the grout and finally found this on here .... and I was pretty impressed with what I bought.It came in the standard size fitting into standard size caulk/sealent guns, (310ml) and, once the tip of the tube is cut off and the 'spout' is twisted on you're ready to go. (You may have to cut the end of the 'spout' to get the right size hole, the further down the 'spout' the larger the hole, the more sealant will ouze out with each squeeze of the trigger.Anyway, the sealant itself is a lovely shade of grey, there are other colours out there but I opted for this grey to go with the grey tiles. This comes out of the caulk gun so easily and is as smooth as a 1970's gentleman's chat up line ... When I ran my moist finger along the squeezed out sealant along the bath itself it left the sealant smooth and easy to manage.It begins to go off in no time ... setting solid, (or more sort of spongy) in hours and when the bath fills with water and drops a little the sealant manages to keep a grip on both the tiles and the bathtub, which is what it's supposed to do, and it does it well.In all, if you're after a cement grey sealant which will do exactly what it's supposed to do, and do it with ease, leaving a pro. finish then this is for you ... Even if you're after another colour then i'm sure mapesil sealant in other colours will be just as good.Well worth the money for that perfect finish

It’s the best silicon I’ve used, but I haven’t used dozens to compare it too though. Def’ buy this brand again.
