Kicker 41KMLC Marine LED Controller

Well they kinda get you on this deal.you can buy the light up grilles and choose which ground wires to use to make diff colors and such, but you can't change em.so you buy the remote which also includes some wire and a module that's molded into the wire for the remote to work.it seems to work very well for.there are alot of different configurations .the reason they sell the remote separately is you can add more grilles and subs and use 1 remote.all the grilles must be wired together though.pretty good idea by kicker.

Everything on my SXS is waterproof, or at lease water resistant. I have the controller mounted up in between my sound bar and roof so it should be ok, but I will shove a towel up there when pressure washing it. The controller works great though, really adds that wow factor to the KICKERs I bought.Just a suggestion to KICKER, put this controller inside of an acrylic tube and then fill the tube with sealant then glue the ends with hot glue. This is how my LED whip controller is and its water proof. I may do this to this controller eventually.

This remote should already just be Included with the kicker speakers to begin with, functionality wise I give them a 4 because they do what they’re meant for, I ended up returning them and left the kicker speakers on a set color which you can change later on by just changing the cables

Hooked up color for color (black, blue, green, red) and two main wires red to 12 volt with 5amp fuse and black to ground and won't even work also tryed new battery in remote nothing so bypassing and get rings to come on so I know unit on good don't know who to contact

This remote control worked well for operating the LED's in my speakers. Does everything it claims to. Easy to install and very compact too. Great product.

Bought this as a replacement because my old remote stop working. It has many light features.

I bought two of these thinking I would save myself $5 bucks. What a mistake. 1st remote arrived and it was defective. 2nd remote arrived today and it was literally melted and looked like it blew up and didn't even have the KMLC dongle or pigtail connector in the box.Called in and Amazon basically said they didn't care. Makes me want to cancel my Amazon prime account all together. Even the supervisor was unhelpful.Bad business to resale items that haven't even been examined and just ship them off.

Didnt work and had hours of hassle trying to diagnose it. And sure enough this remote receiver/switch was the problem. Returned i just hardwired my lights.

I'm not sure why some have had issues with this. It's very easy to install. If it doesn't work out of the box... it's probably the installer ;) 1) connect colour for colour with you speaker rgb wires. 2) connect to a 12v switched power source.... Done. Some brands of speakers have slightly different colour codes, but essentially work the same, but not all the colours will produce on the grills. I have 3 different speakers manufacturers, rockford fosgate, kisker and infinity. The Rockford which has a different colour code doesn't produce the yellows or oranges colours, but does everything else.Also, others have suggested it may be over priced... I disagree. It works as advertised, easy to install, is more or less compatible with other speaker manufacturers... I'd say it's good deal

Works great. Straightforward install, however slightly time consuming. Removed 1 star simply because the product is grossly overpriced for what it is.

Works as advertised! I wish the heat shrink was covering a little more than just the module.
