Rhodia Shopping List Pad, No8, Squared - Black

I just love this paper I bought several styles of the pads. There’s just something about the smoothness of their paper! It’s like a cross between silk and rubber, if that makes any sense?! LOL! My pen just glides over it, making my handwriting even look better!!

If you read the header, that says it all. This paper takes most pens, inks, water based markers, even paint markers in many cases with no bleed through, show through, or ghosting. Also most of these items don't feather or skip much on this paper. One will probably notice that the lines of their mediums appear thinner on this paper. That's because of its special coating.It takes pencil and dry mediums well too. I wouldn't expect to get a lot of layers with dry mediums. But one can use some mixed media. It takes erasing pretty well.I've had no issues with my pens and markers, gel inks, highlighters, liquid inks, correction fluids etc. They all interact nicely with this paper. I'd say the only things that'd cause issues are alcohol inks and markers and the heaviest juiciest inks and mediums.This is a reporter's style notebook with graph paper. It's sturdy yet flexible. The protective cover is nice. It looks great and feels great in the hand. I highly recommend Rhodia products to journalists, artists anyone. 😀

Really GREAT quality notepads.. honestly one of my favorites because they are really such nice quality, well made.. paper thickness is perfect and bound extremely well so it will surely stay together, unlike the cheaper notepads where they are so poorly glued that they fall apart.. not this pad, this product gets 5+ Stars for such high quality at a fair price thru Amazon Prime! Shipping was FAST and arrived nicely in protective packaging. This purchase exceeded my expectations... I know we're only talking about 'Notepads" lol, but I'm setting up my planner for 2017 and organizing my home office, and I really love the style and quality of these notepads... I will definitely be purchasing more in the near future!!!

Excellent product in excellent condition!

I love these pads, and think of them as a small luxury. They are compact, and sized perfectly for making daily to-do lists, or recording important, but temporary information. I buy this and other Rhodia products because of the paper quality and the thoughtful design—which you pay extra for. For some people, at some times, it's worth the cost. For others, a cheap yellow legal pad will do the trick.

Rhodia often uses 'Clairefontaine' paper, maybe the finest in the world. I write with wet ink pens using awfully permanent waterproof ink. It takes my ink perfectly. Maybe the size is a little unusual, but a lot of drawings and sketches need a tall paper. They're perfect tor written lists. Use this pad for the ultimate grocery list pad. And pull this pad out and cause a roomfull of jealous engineers to go into a hushed silence of admiration! I'm very happy with Rhodia and Clairefontaine. Perfect for writing lists. I love these. They are a perfect size for writing lists & the perforation at the top makes it easy to take your list with you.

Rhodia paper is very high quality and makes writing more enjoyable, if that is possible! Love the various sizes and styles offered. This one is perfect for grocery lists, etc. Much higher quality paper than typically available. Recommended.

Nice size. And east rip out pages. I stuck a magnet on the back so sits handy on the side of my fridge. Lots of pages. I have reorded several times.
