I was stunned when my purchase arrived. Tiny little packet. but I was greatly upset when the packet showed the website for the product and it is sold for £0.80. The quality of Green's cakes cannot be faulted - in my opinion, but I can find no excuse for charging £1.99.

As yet I haven't used this latest purchase of Greens Lemon Pie Filling but as I've been unable to buy this I any local shop orSupermarket I purchased same on line. Seemed a Little expensive but we all like this product very much. Thank you.

Preparation: All you need is... 1 medium egg yolk 280ml (1/2 pint) water To Make the Filling... 1 Pour the contents of one sachet into a saucepan. Mix in 280ml (1/2 pint) of water and 1 medium sized egg yolk. Stir continuously, over a low heat until the mixture bubbles and boils. Simmer for 1 minute. 2 Remove from heat. Pour liquid into serving dish and allow to cool for 30 minutes.
