Buckle is very poor design!
At first and in pictures it looks top notch. But then you receive it and realize a few things once you put it on the watch. First you notice that the spring bars that comes with it aren’t very good… at all! They are thin and way smaller in diameter than the hole of the band so there’s a lot of play! So much i can actually see the hole from the side when looking around the lug width. Second, this is not easy to put on your wrist. The rubber band width is precisely the same internal width of the buckle. This makes it difficult to pull the band through and the rubber material chosen doesn’t allow it to slide easy either. Then once you finally have it buckled you notice the buckle tongue doesn’t completely close on the stamped notch created for the it. See pictures. It’s a faulty design or maybe i just got a lemon. Last the metal material of the buckle is not stainless steel nor is it brushed - seems to be a powder coated material. Not a fan!

The watch band is just as described.

Quality watch band
Not too flimsy, like some others. Seems exactly like an old Citizen watch band I used to have. 4 pins included. Great!

LIkely the most uncomfortable strap I have ever bought
Arrived quickly. Good price. Out of the 50+ rubber or hybrid rubber straps I own, this is likely the most uncomfortable strap I have ever worn. The last stay is very tight and I have to really struggle to the band through it. It pulls my arm hair something fierce (None of my other straps do this). It looks good but (for me) it is incredibly uncomfortable.

As good as the original Citizen Band!
This watchband appears to be as good as the original Citizen band it replaces! It is almost identical to the original. I'm going to buy another for a spare! I've had the Citizen Hyper aqualand for about 15 years now and this is the third time replacing the band. one local jewelry store used to carry them, but no more. They can order one for about $40.00. this one is a steel at $15.00+$4.00 shipping!Update 9/25/2012!I bought this band on 12/10/2010 and as of today the dive limits markings still show no sign of wear. They are as bright as the day I received it! The band itself does not appear to show any wear either! The original Citizen bands would begin to show wear on the part of the band that meets the buckle in the form of a line across the band after about a year. I've had this band on my watch (that I wear everyday) for over a year and ten months and there is no visible wear! This is a great watch band especially for the price! If this band suits your needs you will not be disappointed!

a fantastic strap for the money
i have been looking for a replacement strap for the Seiko Solar diver i won playing fantasy football last season, as the Seiko Z20 is not high on my list of all time great straps. when i read "Italian Rubber" in description i saw that as the code words for a particular type of rubber used by a well known Italian strap manufacturer (hint: BC) and has a vanilla scent to it. it is NOT that rubber. it is most definitely a soft touch TPU material which is stiffer than natural rubber. it feels exactly like the strap that came with the Seiko SBBN017 "Tuna" (a $900+ watch) and that is a very good thing.i have "boiled" my strap to give it a permanent curve and enhancing fit- place the strap inside a coffee mug with the outside of the strap against the inside of the mug walls (curving the strap) and pour hot, NOT boiling, water into the cup. let it sit for 5 mins and then pour out the water. your strap will now have a nice, comfortable, permanent curve without damaging or changing the feel of the strap.
