Product Description Humbrol Acrylic 14ml paints are non-toxic and water based so can be thinned with water, removing the need for chemical thinners. Usage: A solvent-based, fast-dry paint developed for use on plastic model kits but which can also be used on other substrates. Substrate: A wide range of surfaces including most plastics, wood, glass, ceramics, metal, cardboard, sealed plaster, sealed hardboard and more (always try on a small test area to check suitability). Coverage: 14ml tin covers approximate 0.3 meter square. depending on thickness of application. Application: Brush straight from the tin. Airbrush with a suitable thinner such as Humbrol Enamel Thinners. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat. The usual thinning ratio is 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner. Note that Metalcote colours are designed to be polished when fully dry. How to clean: Brushes: use Humbrol enamel thinners; Airbrush: flush thoroughly using Humbrol Enamel Thinners. Product is permanent once dry. Safety notice: 5 Chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one, 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1), 2- phenoxyethanol. Suitable for ages 8 plus. Available in Matt finish. Olive drab
Forest green? You show me a forest that's this colour. This is good old olive drab. I painted an aluminium water bottle with this paint so that I wasn't embarrassed to be seen with its (horrible pastel) original colour. It's worn reasonably well so far, and is easy enough to touch up when needed.

Humbrol Enamel works a treat on undercoated metal models.
Usual excellent Humbrol product. Thicker than Revell but can use thinner to make it go farther without losing adhesion especially on an undercoat.

Colour is accurate to photos on product page. Don't know why but this colour was a lot cheaper than others in the same range.

Humbrol, a name I have relied on for years. This 150 MATT dried to the most magnificent GLOSS finish I have ever seen, what a pity that's not what I wanted. Yes it does say MATT on the tin.
