Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Lash Extending Treatment Mascara 02 Brown/Black

I was unable to get my usual blue mascara so opted for this one instead, big mistake. It is awful, very wet, and the mascara comes off and goes onto my face and eyelids. I have to remember to check in the mirror before going out. An absolute waste of money.

Very disappointed. For the price it's ridiculous, it doesn't last at all and just smudges all around my eyes. There are far cheaper, far better mascaras out there. Expected better from EA!

As a beauty junkie I must have bought about 40 mascaras in my time, and this is definitely in my top three! The brush is just the right size and dispenses the product evenly and without clumps. It gives great volume and absolutely AMAZING curl (an unexpected bonus!) It has excellent conditioning powers which I've noticed has made a definite improvement to the strength and resilience of my lashes. It won't make you 'grow more lashes' as some of these newer mascara treatments claim, but it will help you stop losing what you've got, and even without it being a treatment it is quite simply a GREAT mascara - dramatic, buildable, inky black, volumising, curling, kind to lashes. If you accidentally leave it on overnight it just wears off, so you don't even have to worry about getting that awful 'next day' hardness that takes a lot of rough cleansing to get it off. It's easy to remove and gentle. I received this product when I signed up to be a Beauty Bible tester this year, and it was the best product they sent me. I'll definitely be buying another when this runs out! Classy packaging finishes off a superb product you must add to your make-up collection!!

The packaging is very nice and the advertising promises a lot. However, there are important problems. The ingredients are not fully specified anywhere in the internet, so when I got it I found out that it contains quite a lot of chemical components; Elizabeth Arden should improve this issue making their products more organic or natural as, now reviewing many sites about this question, it affects many of their products as they use some harmful ingredients. The product also breaks a bit and gets into your eyes, so I wouldn't buy it again.

good value but it doesnt really extend the lashes with ease .... its okay but not superb

I expected this to stay on and not smudge, given the name and price. However, that was not the case and after a couple of hours it had smudged onto my face. Not as good as a much cheaper Avon mascara that I usually use.

This is the best mascara I have found that conditions your lashes and prevents breakage, especially if you're trying to preserve the precious few you have. Also, it looks good, doesn't clump, and adds length.

It take ALOT of product to even look like you have it on and then it smears all over your eyes all day. I will not buy again.

I was very excited when I first used this. Came out not too heavy, applied nicely. But after just a few applications, it is already thick as it comes out of the container, and the wand has blobs of mascara attached to it which either get stuck on the way out or need to be wiped off OR get klumped on my lashes. I am a bit disappointed for something I paid over $20 for, and wiping off excess just looks like money in the trash for me! I expected more from Elizabeth Arden - my go to makeup for years! I can't speak to a long-term effect on lashes.
