Some odd proportions but good padding
The sizing of these didn't work for me, and I rarely ever wear any workout bottoms that have an elastic band at the top. I'm 5'4", 112lbs, somewhat athletic build and normally between an XS-S depending on brand. I got a S, and while the waist was okay, there were a few inches of excess fabric around the padding, and the legs were tight and constricting. On the bike I didn't notice the extra fabric, but I didn't even attempt a ride with how tight the legs felt. Adjusting them didn't help as they were still noticeably digging in. The padding did feel great and the fabric had a slick performance feel. The padding may have moved if I rode though, as when standing the extra fabric meant only a little of it was even close to my body. These would likely fit better if you have smaller thighs/quads.

Perfect fit and comfort for all day cycling. Holding up after daily use for months now!
I use these daily and have 4 pair that I use for my 4 day x 10 hr shifts. I spend about 8 hours a day professionally on my mountain bike for work. These have held up and provided exceptional padding and comfort without large an oversized diaper feeling. They work well in the extreme heat of AZ as well as the cooler weather. They do not roll down at the waist while riding, and they have a nice comfortable thigh grip that is tolerable on my 10 hour shifts. I have really put these to the test with as much biking as I do. Honestly, they have been the best that I have purchased in years. Highly recommend these especially for the price. The chamois is a gel pad with a pink cover that literally has held up now without showing much stress on them. I am impressed with them. Thank you for keeping them so affordable and comfortable.

Not bad!
Just to note: I ordered a size L, and have about a 30" waist. I have slim hips & thighs, and carry my weight in my tummy. And these fit me PERFECT. So, I'd say the size chart for these is fairly accurate. They don't fit tight around my thighs, so there is some leeway there (but I'm glad, as I don't like tight fitting bike shorts). To compare: I have 2 pair of the Pearl Izumi Sugar Shorts, which I love, so i was hoping these would be like them. So close. The only downside is the high waist. I hate high waist pants (but I think I can fix). For now, I just fold it over.I had bought 2 new pair of the new Pearl Izumi bike shorts (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09N2F54K3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and they are AWFUL! The padding is way too long and the fit is not good. They hurt everytime I wear them. (And since I bought them in April, it's way past the return window). These new ones are very fun. And less expensive! Wore them today for 40 min.'s and the fit reminds me of the Sugar Shorts. Plus, fun colors and LOVE the leopard print! If it weren't for the waist, they'd be perfect.

Great bike shorts
Bought these bike shorts because I wanted to try the gel padding. Love the feel of them the gel is so much better than the foam, from now on I will only buy cycling shorts with gel padding. I bought a size M and like the fit, I am 5'1" and weigh 110lbs

Serve their purpose but not flattering
Yes these shorts do pad your derriere on the bike seat, but they are most unflattering. they are comfortable. They wash easily. I wear a size 14 and that's X-large.
