Performix ioWHEY Isolate Protein Powder, Vanilla Ice Cream, 28 Servings

It was my first time trying this protein powder and definitely won't be buying it again for sure. It is extremely and overpoweringly sweet. If you're someone where if you eat something too sweet your binging kick starts stay away from this. Overall, it's not bad if it wasn't so sweet. Also it doesn't blend easily if you put in warm-hot water for those who might like that, keep it in mind.

I bought this in vanilla as their Pro Whey wasn't available anymore. I really enjoyed the flavor of the Pro Whey and was hoping for a similar, rich, creamy taste (minus the beads). When I first tried it, I thought it was horrendous. The lack of sugar meant the sweetness is provided by artificial means, giving quite a chemical aftertaste. This issue went away as I learned to use more milk (I use 1%) than I would with other protein powders, thereby dulling the sweetness and bringing the creamy vanilla forward. I found that with more milk, it is quite close to the ice-cream flavor they advertise, and has since become something I look forward to after a workout. Although diluting it helped a lot, if you are sensitive to artificial sweeteners this still may not be for you.

Love this but why doesn’t the vanilla come in the large size? Price keeps going up and size goes down.

I am in the process of auditioning several protein powders, based on their clean label ratings. I am not a fan of these in general (supplementing to meet health goals) so I can't imagine giving 5🌟 to any of them. That said, this one is a keeper for me in terms of low carbs (2g), taste, protein grams (22g), and cost. It is also low in calories (100). I found it tastes best blended with water, ice and erythritol sweetener - I did not enjoy it as much with fruit. So far, this one beats out Body Fortress, hands down.

For my first go at protein powder, the flavor is good. it’s not chalky when mixed in a smoothie, and it keeps me full for hours. I would buy this again

We love that this flavor DOESN'T taste like a protein shake. My husband and I feel like we are drinking a vanilla milkshake. We also like that we can customize and add in fruit, PB, etc... to change it up every now and then as well.

I have used Muscle Milk powder as well as Pure Protein. I found both products to taste really awful and had lots of unneeded ingredients. Performix powder actually tastes like vanilla and the ingredients are kept to a minimum. I've also noticed results in muscle growth. I would highly recommend this product!

I've been purchasing this protein brand exclusively for the past 2 years. Performix has changed a lot since I first "discovered" them. I loved this brand because I believed they were transparent and honest. If you go to vitamin or nutrition shops, you'll notice they don't carry as much Performix brand supplements as they used to. Shops literally cut Performix supps by 80-90% because of the confusion caused by Performix supplements. They simply tried to do too much too quick which created consumer confusion.I've always defended Performix, but they've been slowly losing my trust. This last issue was when I purchased a smaller bag than the bigger tub I normally purchased. I noticed the grams per scoop were a lot less than the grams per scoop listed on the bigger tub. It's apparent they listed smaller amounts for the smaller bag because they are cheating the consumer with less protein powder in the bag. I lost a lot of trust when they made their tubs smaller, but kept the price nearly the same as when the tub was bigger. This last realization completely made me turn away from Perfomix. It's been a good run, but it's time to move on.
