Real Salt Sea Salt - Shaker, 4.75-Ounce (Pack of 4)

This is the best, most flavorful salt that my husband and I have ever tasted. We had become concerned with the contamination of seas, so have been avoiding all Sea Salt solely because of that reason. We then switched to Himalayan Salt, but that is a very mild tasting salt,, but we missed the "real salt" flavor. We are very health conscious, as well as exceptionally healthy for a couple in their late 60's (neither of us have any disease or malady of any kind, take no prescription or other medicine, have been slender all our lives, and have normal to low-normal blood pressure), and have never tried to limit our salt intake. When watching Dr. Ken Berry, MD, on YouTube, he recommended this brand of salt, due to it's source (mined under 30+ feet of clay under a Utah lake, so no contamination at all, full of various minerals, and flavorful). We immediately purchased some - and are so glad that we did. This salt is absolutely wonderful! For those of you who try to limit your salt intake, we recommend that you watch some of Dr. Berry's videos on YouTube. Salt is not the villain nor the problem with hypertension. Educate yourself. Nonetheless, you decide what's best for you. As for us, we will be lifelong customers of Redmond's Real Salt. Real Salt is the best salt, ever. I've been using it for about 10 years, now, after learning about its trace minerals and vitamins. It has less sodium per 1/4 tsp. than regular salt, and tastes far better. A tiny bit goes a long way. Plus it doesn't strip your electrolytes causing imbalances. Instead, it builds them up. If you have problems with salt, but like the taste, this is the one for you. I usually order directly from Redmond, but this time, Amazon offered the best price, and I got it with free shipping in two days, due to having a Prime account. Thank you, Amazon!

We prefer a natural salt to the highly processed bleached types. This comes in perfect sized container, is very fresh and we don't need to use much to flavor foods. It also comes from the US, Utah. I would never want to switch back after learning more about processed foods.

This is now the preferred salt in my household. You may need to put a little more on than normal table salt, but it tastes better and is less processed than table salt. The 4 pack worked well as we could leave one in the dining room and in the kitchen instead of moving it back and forth.
