There is something incredibly nostalgic about cracking open a bottle of Robinsons Orange Barley Water. For me, it isn’t just about quenching thirst; it’s the drink you get when you’re coming in from a long day in the sun, or the drink your nan would make you when you were feeling slightly under the weather.​Why I Keep Coming Back to It​Most squashes today feel like "flavored water"—thin, sharp, and often a bit chemical. But Barley Water is different. It’s thick and velvety. When you mix it with ice-cold water, it feels substantial. It has this "soft" orange flavor that doesn't sting the back of your throat.​The "Ritual"​You can’t just pour this like a regular cordial. To get it right, you have to do the "Robinsons Shake." If you forget to shake the bottle, you see all that cloudy barley goodness sitting at the bottom, and the drink just isn't the same. There’s a weirdly satisfying feeling in seeing the water turn into that opaque, sun-colored gold once it's mixed.​What I Love (and What Bothers Me)​The Best Bit: It’s the ultimate "Goldilocks" drink. It’s not too sweet, not too sour, and the texture is just right. It’s my absolute favorite thing to drink with a heavy lunch because it feels like it actually washes everything down.​The Annoying Bit: I’ll be honest—the bottle shrinking to 850ml was a heartbreak. I feel like I’m at the bottom of the bottle much faster than I used to be. Also, if you’re trying to go strictly "sugar-free," this isn't for you. It’s an indulgence, even if it is a liquid one.

I love this barley squash it’s so refreshing and fruity especially when it’s cold the orange taste is so nice plus you only need to add a little amount in water, great value price.

Great value. Robinsons Orange Barley Water can be difficult to find, so buying in bulk is great.

This is my go to drink.I prefer this to any other Robinsons and you can’t get it in a lot of supermarkets.It’s much cheaper on here too.It’s such a nice taste and so refreshing.
