Grandma's recipes are easier to follow the a pinch and tad of this and that!
Love these 5 spoons and use them daily. Easy to read size and fun measuring tad, pinch, smidgen, drop and dash. Grandchildren think they are awesome too. Nice size handles to hold. The 5 spoons come on a ring and I chose to remove them from the ring and stand them up in a small cup as I use several of them daily and like to wash individually as used. Thank you for a useful whimsical product!

Wish I had bought these years ago.
These may seem a bit expensive for what you get. But when cooking for one or two, where recipes must be downsized to ridiculous amounts, especially with spices, they are wonderful. Although they are described as dash, pinch, tad, smidgen and drop, another reviewer says they test out to be 1/4. 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 and 1/64 teaspoon. That is important when measuring spices for small recipes such as a one-egg muffin omelet where guessing a quantity as small as 1/32 tsp and accidentally doubling it to 1/16 tsp can ruin a recipe. These will pay for themselves with the money saved by not ruining recipes. They are very sturdy and have long handles and narrow rectangular spoons that fit into almost any spice jar. I would have bought these years ago if I could have found them.

All the right sizes but ...
I needed to be able to measure a 1/64th of a teaspoon for a powered vitamin supplement. Aside from using a digital scale, this was as close as I could get to a microscopic measuring spoons. I probably could have used a real "pinch" between my fingers, but this was kinda cute! Could also function as a nice Christmas Tree ornament! Well made too.

Great product - high quality
This is an excellent choice for micro measurements. The stainless works far better and seems to be more accurate than using plastic spoons. I have both and the stainless is definitely my preferred choice. My only wish is that each spoon had the measurement as well as the wording size on the handle. It might have been nice to see 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, ... Otherwise i like these over others i have tried. Highly recommended.randy

When you want it just right
I purchased these little measuring spoons for one reason only. The "Dash" size measurement is perfect for measuring the exact amount of bulk Stevia powder extract to go in my morning coffee. I haven't found a use for the accompanying spoons -- but they're awfully cute. So happy I don't have to guess about sweetening my coffee any longer!

Amusing - but very useful
OK - I admit the humor in seeing these "imprecise" cooking amounts codified in a tool like this. That doesn't mean it's any less useful. These spoons, in heavy stainless steel, will do real work for the right cook. I admit, I don't always measure with scientific precision. Some seasonings, though work best in minute amounts - and you might find times, like when writing down a recipe, when you want trustworthy repeatability in even those small quantities.Yes, these serious tools might be good for a laugh. That's OK. "Serious" and "grim" are different words for good reason.-- wiredweird

Great for measuring Stevia and anything requiring micro-measurements
We've recently started using a jar of Stevia. After an unfortunate incident where my hand slipped resulting in brainmelting and stomach-turning levels of sweetness, I decided I should get some tiny measuring spoons. These fit the bill quite well and are great when you're trying to be particularly cautious with your measuring to avoid disastrous incidents with Stevia or other ingredients capable of overpowering (or simply ruining) your culinary masterpieces. The bonus is that if you've ever stared at handed down recipes or cook books and wondered, "What the heck is a smidgen? How much is a dash exactly?" These will set you straight. See the questions for exact proportions and save the trip to Wikipedia. Alternatively, you can ask your Amazon Echo.
