Ethanol Fireplace - Recessed - IGNIS Quadra

We recently moved into an old house and the fireplace can't be used. (Well, it could be if we wanted to spend $8,000 for repairs.) The Igniss Ventless Bio Ethanol Fireplace Quadra fits perfectly into the firebox space. So, instead of spending $8,000 for repairs, we purchased the Igniss fireplace and it is a perfect substitute. (One note of caution: with the Igniss fireplace set into the firebox, there is a smell of the fuel which wouldn't be there if it was out in the open on the floor.)

We installed this fireplace into a previously wood burning fireplace; while framing was hard it's well worth the effort. Our updated fireplace looks complete with this insert.Install Directions are not very straightforward and i resorted to putting the item in the fireplace for measuring the framing. Not a big deal but clear directions would have been better.The packaging was excellent and the item arrived without any damage; kudos to the people at Ignis for this.

We installed our fireplace in a bank of white cabinetry, and it beautifully breaks up the white while adding a modern touch. We were looking for a fireplace that was smaller in scale than most on the market, and this one fit perfectly in our tiny but updated 100+ year old cottage. In the evening, it adds a very cozy feel to a rather small space.

We ordered this product (Ignis Quadra) to avoid the hassle of a real fire. It really was better than our dreams! It is easy to light and enjoy a fire in the evenings and just close the damper when we want to go to bed...a great product with great support.I highly recommend it to anyone who wants less hassle in their lives and the magic of a fireplace.Dale NC

This fireplace is everything I hoped it would be and then some. It is maintenance free and looks beautiful in our living room. The actual fire itself is a good size which I was worried it would be a small flicker. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn't have a natural fireplace in their home. It's perfect.

really love this fire place. sharp clean and easy. installation was a bit difficult.... but once in it is beautiful. spoke to customer service numerous times before i ordered and they were very helpful and nice. the stainless shows fingerprints, but overall good item!
